Spirit Beast Hunt: Update TAMED ARCTURIS! {Image Warning}

(continuation of my last thread: Looking for a Spirit Beast)

I decided to go hunt for Arcturis instead, since I'm really too spooked in Sholazar. (Wish I could transfer off the realm, but I have no credit cards. Good idea Blizz. <.<' I could have used Paypal. ;.; )

So, the first stumble I have, is where does the ghost bear spawn from? I looked it up on Wowhead, and found out, and decided on a spot to stake out... but I'm not sure if this is the best spot, see image below;

UPDATE: :3 I got her!

I just logged back in, and saw Arcturis wandering below me. Kind of panicked way too much to screenshot the tame, but Arc walked right into my trap, no pounce. ^.^'

Name ideas: Steamburn? or something else? (The burn is due to I got a burn on my thumb moments before I tamed her. ^.^') She looks like steam too.

I think you're a bit off. Hard to tell without clear map location

He spawns RIGHT on the slope that goes down the hill towards the river. I believe its right on the ~ER~ in AMBERPINE (on the map)

Its right on the slope though. Make sure to have your volume turned up, and have Silverdragon and NPCSCAN with Cache cleared

Go do something else!~ When loud noise happens, get excited and run back over

That looks about right. He spawns right in the shadow of the tree at the inner point on your mount's right wing.

By the way, Saotic sounds like an awesome person, to give you a head's up like that.

You'd also be fine with parking right at Arc's spot since he's not hostile. Would be kinda embarrassing if you'd park yourself somewhere for a rare hostile pet and go afk for a while, then find out you're dead cuz the rare pet annihilated you.

Heh, I was able to re-nab Arcturis the other day... I had been sitting at his spawn point for about two days off and on and I had the background sound option enabled so I could hear NPC_Scan go off if he showed up while I was doing other things on the PC...

After about a day and a half I finally got tired of waiting (the first time I got him I waited for 3-5 days... constantly... if I was home, my PC was on and I was parked at his spawn. I finally broke down and ticketed a GM and asked if I could get him back because I wasn't thinking when I abandoned him several months ago...

About two hours later a GM tells me he has to send my request to someone up the ladder somewhere and it might take a couple of days, so the GM leaves chat and I am wallowing in my own self pity... so I minimize WoW again to do something else (looking up new PC parts for a new rig), and about two hours later (I would go back to WoW to stay logged in if I heard the "log out" sound) I was like, "hmm, I should look to see if anyone else is there camping with me." ....

I maximize WoW and to my amazement I was still alone... except for the ghost bear about 3 feet from me just walking around like nothing was going on... as soon as I targetted him the NPC_Scan went off and I was like, "GEE THANKS REALLY?!" So I went about taming him... and stupid me didn't lay a frost trap first and I almost died, but I got him back...

So that is another Spirit Beast back in the stable after I ditched them to get the "HEY! We thought you were going to be extinct in Cataclysm" pets...

Stable is full so now I'll have to wait til the next patch and increased stables slots to get Loque (second time) and Gondria (for the 4th time) again, but I can wait... i don't feel like ditching anyone else to get them.

Current stables: Skoll, Arcturis, Oil Wolf, Grunter, and Aotona.
