Thanks for all of the positive feedback, I've really enjoyed reading about your guys' favorite pets. ^_^ All the screenshots are nice, too.

I just wanted to say that Antiquus was restored last night, and I have resolved to never release him again. The restoration took place while I was offline, but thankfully the GM who took my ticket sounded very understanding and helpful in his letter.

I'm going to take some screens of me and Antiquus after the dreaded Tuesday maintenance is over~

I can admit I'm attached to some of my hunter's pets as well..

My black devilsaur and my black lion (humar...tamed LONG before Pitch existed) will be two to stay no matter what..and I would have a brief fit if I ever let them go..even if it was an accident XD

I went and got my crappy gray gorilla that I used to use on my 55 draenei hunter I had on Bloodhoof, same name and everything.

I might use him for PVP cuz of the interrupt, and to demoralize people.

Back when my dwarven hunter, Septimus, was a wee little one, I was unsure of a pet, so I sent the hunter god BRK an email asking what he advised for levelling. Of course the answer was boar for they reigned supreme during that time. So I took my baby hunter over to Redridge and tamed Bellygrub for myself and called it Kumar. And so Septimus and Kumar travelled the world and conquered dungeons, all until that fatefull day.

Whilst levelling in Wintersprimg I came across the Frostsaber Huntress and instantly fell in love, so I ran back to Everlook and stabled Kumar. I made my way back and tamed myself one of the beauties. But alas, for I had not a name, so Cat and I set forth for Outland and it wasn't until someone in a party for Blood Furnace said that Septimus sounded like Optimus that I found a name for Cat. And hence from this event Cat became known as Prime and together we stayed until Sunwell, which shortly after I left the game.
Thanks to Ket Shi for the cute little miner monkey.

My main man, so to speak, is Apollyon (King Krush). Initially I was unsure about using a devilsaur. They seemed too large and not very "pet-like", in that they aren't furry and such. I was used to running with my old friend Tetsusaiga (Echeyakee) for literally years. But, I figured I'd give it a whirl. First I tamed a red devilsaur in Un'goro and named him Deathclutch (sponsor for mine and my husband's favorite UFC fighter.....). Deathclutch was cool, and I did like him, but the bond wasn't really there. Then, I was looking around on Petopia one day trying to see the other colors and I stumbled across King Krush. Oddly enough, initially I was a little put off by his bright green color. But I found myself coming back to his page again and again until finally, I decided that he was the perfect devilsaur for Rhyela. Words can't describe how awesome he is in person, though. It's one thing to see him on a web page, but another to see him up close and personal. He has this strange, powerful majesty to him. I was hooked immediately. I lost him to a group of Alliance the first night I saw him on a Saturday (well technically it would have been Sunday early a.m.). But on the following Monday morning, I called off sick from work. I went back to bed, but as I laid there feeling awful, I wondered if he could really be up. I shoved the nagging thoughts aside for a few minutes but couldn't resist. I had to check! I logged on and first checked around the river in the NW portion of the zone, he wasn't there. I flew to Glimmering Pillar and BAM, there he was!!! I still couldn't tame him by myself, though, even with 20k hp and a decent amount of haste. I was only level 75, so it became painfully obvious that I needed help. I finally called my brother who thankfully was awake. He logged onto his shaman and flew out there. But while I waited for him, a horde pally flew by and stopped. My heart sank. I hopped on my gryphon, flew up to him, and frantically started emoting a mix of /no, /plead, /beg, /cry.....etc. He got the hint and left! My brother arrived, gave me earth shield and heroism, and roughly 16 seconds later, King Krush was mine!!! I named him Apollyon. Originally I had planned the name Kaiser for him, but when I tamed him, the name Apollyon just struck me suddenly. It was perfect. He's been my main pet ever since even though lately I run as survival. He has an arrogant personality. He's the freaking King of Sholazar, and he makes sure everyone knows it. But he's also very loyal to Rhyela. They're practically soulmates. <3

My other pet that I grew strangely fond of is Naphthali, my little red spider. I always tried tarantulas in the past but never could get into them. I didn't think I'd like the standard spider model, either, so I never bothered. But one night in ICC Blood Wing, I saw this beautiful little critter called a Blood Spider (or something to that effect). I was immediately taken by its bold coloration. I looked on Petopia to see if there were any beast versions and sure enough, there were about four or so. I planned to tame Naraxis in Duskwood. But when I got there, she wasn't there. So, I headed to the next closest location which was Zul'Gurub. I expected a quick in-and-out tame, being a level 60 raid and all. Ugh, was I mistaken. I accidentally pulled way too many in the first group and was forced to kill the Razzashi Broodwidows (and nearly died in the process). I tried to be more careful for the second group. I had it all planned ahead, or so I thought. Use distracting shot to pull a broodwidow into a freezing trap, and AoE the rest of the group down, then tame once they were all dead. Nope, didn't happen that way at all. The trap broke, the mobs all aggroed to me (I had a boar with me at the time that didn't hold aggro so well, apparently), I almost died again, and my pet decided to start attacking my broodwidow, nearly killing her. I quickly abandoned him mid-fight and finished off the group with the broodwidow assaulting me. Finally, they were all dead with just me and my prize left standing. I trapped her and finished the tame. I named her Naphthali which is Hebrew for "struggling", since it was more of a struggle to get her than I'd thought it would be. But even after that, I still planned on taming Naraxis (I love rares, what can I say). I went to Duskwood one night and there was Naraxis. I set Naphthali at the entrance of its cave, just to go check it out and admire it for a few moments before taming. But then when I went to abandon Naphthali, who sat so patiently and obediently outside the cave, looking all lonely and sweet, I just couldn't do it. I didn't realize it until that moment, but she had really grown on me. So, I left the rare there and kept my "regular" little ZG spider, and have had her ever since. Nor do I think I can ever let her go. She's so stinkin' cute it's disgusting sometimes. :P Her personality is very sweet and loving towards Rhyela, but at the same time she's retained her motherly, protective instincts from her previous home in Zul'Gurub as a brood widow. She has a strange habit of "protecting" ore that I want to mine by sitting right on top of it, I guess to make sure someone doesn't try to steal it from me. :) She's just a doll.
