Yes after pulling off many tanks, much dieing and lvling new pets, I have completed(maybe) my research on Cunning Vs. Ferocity (even with Recount slightly off). I used a Serpent and a Raptor for this study because they both have the same Sunder Armor skill. I found that the Raptor peaks at about 18-20k (give or take a few 100) and evens out at about 12k-14k. The Serpent on the other hand did on average 16-18k peak and evened out at about 13k-15k(not much more tho). In supper short dungeon boss fights (when I'm fully buffed (kings or paw+might) and have my Core Hound, I can get to 35k, pet BL rocks

)
The reason I believe the Cunning is out DPSing the Ferocity is this; Owl's Focus and Feeding Frenzy.
Owl's Focus: Your pet has a [15%/30%] chance after using an ability that the next ability will cost no Focus if used within 8 sec.
Feeding Frenzy: Your pet does [8%/16%] additional damage to targets with less than 35% health. Now
Owl's Focus may not seem really that big a deal but when u take in consideration that ALL basic attacks do the same DMG the more basic attacks ur pet can do before their focus runs out and needs to recharge, although the Ferocity does more DMG at the start because of
Call of the Wild, thus they peak high for the 1st 20sec of the fight. The other big thing is
Feeding Frenzy, because recount show only the tail end of the fight and because for the majority of the fight both pets were doing about the same (Ferocity a bit more),
Feeding Frenzy seems to be the tie breaker.
Cobra Reflexes plus
Owl's Focus maybe why Cunning can stay with Ferocity mid fight.
Mind u I did all this using all my skills, in an overly geared orc huntress, in BM, and DBW has 3 different procs. I did this several times on test dummies and randoms, only got to go into a raid once

, and was careful to wait for my skills and internal procs to come off cool down. I did this in both dungeons and on test dummies. I think because they evened out all the pets basic skills (Bite, Claw, Smack), the talent skills are what made the difference. Cobra Reflexes, Dash/Dive Spiked Collar, Boar's Speed, Wild Hunt, and Culling The Herd are all on both specs. So discounting those we have Cornered, Feeding Frenzy, Wolverine Bite, and Owl's Focus in Cunning. And in Ferocity we have Spider's Bite, Call of the Wild, Shark Attack, and Rabid. (The skills listed are the only ones I put points in for DPS). I shall now start doing longer test dummy fights, to see if longer fights make a big difference.
If anyone else can try this too I'd love u forever

if u could share ur findings as well.
