No Worgen Mount?

So browsing mmo champ today I saw that a new spell was added in the beta build - http://db.mmo-champion.com/s/87840/running-wild/ - Link there.. Its called running wild and is a worgen racial available at level 20..but provides a mounted effect. So..they drop to all fours and run as fast as an animal, does this mean they have no mounts or cant ride mounts? I know in beta they get the night elf cats atm.. Just a thought and mmo champ seems to have the same idea as me..

Tauren originally had a similar spell in original beta called plains running. It turned out to be temporary.

^ This. I have a feeling this shall only be temporary and they're still not done with the actually Worgen mount. We'll just have to wait any see.

Alliance will be a bit disadvantaged with total amount of mounts if this stays as is... although if they don't increase the mount achievements, then theres no worries anyway.

Cool - but won't this give Horde an unfair advantage for dragonhawks, etc?

Potentially, but I have mine already so it won't advantage or disadvantage me apart from that I just want more mounts
Especially if they add a new achievement for something after the dragonhawk...

I think this would be a perk and would actually make me want to make a worgen over a goblin.. mostly because it sounds cool and probably looks really cool.. but I doubt it'll stay in. Everyones already complaining about the mount count hehe.

So far Worgen seem to ride mounts fine, I don't think this will hurt their ability to have one. Personally I think Plainsrunning 2.0 is pretty cool. A lot of people wanted it on the beta forums, so its hard to say if it's permanent or temporary.

Cause it was just a concept, not all concepts go live.

But generally most do. They didn't have concepts for tauren mounts, if I recall.

True, but there might have been some hiccups in the original plan of things. I always wondered how Blizzard was gonna "lore" giant war pig mounts into Gilnean society, when all through Gilneas everything seems pretty normal. Yanno, aside from the curse turning everyone in to worgen.

The main reason Plainsrunning got removed was because every time you stopped, the buff got removed. It doesn't seem to be that way for WOrgen.

But also according to worgen lore, more of the worgen we see now were night elves, not humans. The very night elves that started the curse in the first place....yet we only get to play as the human ones.

Personally, instead of mutated pigs, it should be like skeletal cats or something.

Worgen Lore overall is messed up. I doubt Blizz would care for a small inconsistency like that, when they, you know, REMOVED ALL THE PREVIOUSLY ESTABLISHED LORE!?

Sorry, I'm just really not a fan of the way they destroyed the Worgen lore. Just HAD to put druids in there, huh!? D:

i'm aware, but their old lore is still there, i think even in-game so it's not 100% erased.

my GM didnt understand how worgen could be druids either. His statement: "Why would I wanna play a human that becomes a dog that becomes a bear that becomes a cat that becomes a moonkin that becomes a tree that becomes a bird?"
