I'd guess patch day, going by previous expansions

Best thing to do would be to check on the 4.0 PTR. If it's available there, it should be there on 4.0 patch day; if not, then it's when Cataclysm releases.

hmm, I'd have thought Cataclysm at the same time as the rejigged zones, but here's hoping.

As of today on the PTR they are all untamable. Not sure about Gezz though.
Maybe with a later build.

As of yesterday Gezz is untamable and the hell boars are considered demons on the PTR. Not saying it won't change in future patch builds.. that said..

I'm pretty sure all of the newly tamable pets are linked to cataclysm in one way or another meaning the earliest we might see them is probably the pre-cataclysm patch rumored to be 4.0.3.

We're seeing the skill/talent overhaul in 4.0.1 .. in the future patch we'll see more of a reflection of what is going on in the beta.
