I would even take a Spirit Beast shark.

It would be able to move like normal underwater, but when you have it on land it would summon about 4 feet off of the ground and then fall straight down. When it hit the ground it would then start to thrust back and forth while moving to the enemy. Once there it would latch onto the mob like a pitbull on steroids and start slapping the enemy with its fins and tail.

Old hyena model (head up), with blue mage eater type skin (though blue belly to) With the blue ruinic markings or glowing patterns. Blue fiery spiked maine.

A blazing semi-transparent (think ghost saber) warpstalker, with serated spikes, or lava effect.

a Naturesc talbuk, similat to the style of that Arch Dyad, with bark-like patterns and green, leaf/vine intertwined in the maine.

...you know what'd make an awsome playable character for alliance? Dryads!! They're alreadt affiliated with NE's....hmmm maybe for the emerald dream expansion (you know they have to make that one!!)
For horde...Ogers...unless the taurens come to a true with the centaur, so the horde can get a 4-legged playable....oops, off topic XD

A SB raptor using the horde mount model (minus saffle/reigns), sith the internal glow effect like loque and a black/red or blue/black color scheme

Fox!! Heehee a SB fox would be awsome!! A Fox with multiple tails, and burning flames at the feet! overall glowy effect, colors orange or blue would work

Only if Blizzard creates a spirit beast bird (would prefer an owl or an eagle) would I tame one and keep it. The current spirit beasts don't really click with me.

It would be a fantastic way to honor ZG's passing, IMO. Plus a wind serpent-based spirit beast would certainly make a number of posters on this forum happy.

It wouldn't be hard to justify upgrading the Spawn of Hakkar model either I reckon (or introduce a Mature Spawn of Hakkar mob). Spirit beast + Hakkar model = Awesomeness though!

I have always wanted a hyena spirit beast. Something with a similar body type and posture to a striped hyena.


Something like this would be nice, but solid black going from opaque at the shoulders and starts to fade at the chest to the point of almost being nonexistent at the lower leg. Billowing smoke curls and plumes around the pads of its paws up to the ankle and leaves smoky tracks behind them. Still undecided about eye color but a deep pigeon blood red would be fierce I think, but a cool silvery blue might be nice to.

Long as its not translucent like Gondria or Arcturis(that just bothers me a lot) and more like Loque or Skoll, I'll be content.

A Raptor or Wind Serpent would be nice.

I wasn't really feelin' the spirit wind serpent (well, a non-Hakkar-themed one, anyway) until you posted that pic, Spiritbinder! That would be really amazing!

That one I can deal with. I love my ghost saber. Gondria and Arcturis are too blocky for my liking and too see-through. Arcturis is too bright.

Ugh, yes, this. If Arcturis's butt wasn't so blocky, I'd be more attached to him.
