Re: Loque' hot spots?
So I finally tamed my Loque. I only started looking for it a few days ago, but having read up on whatever info I could find about the cat, I decided to camp for him at 66.5 - 79.3.
I took a round looking at the other spawn places, just to come back and hear my NPCscan go off, and there he was, dead. I missed him by minutes only, so I was a bit sad, but at the same time happy, since I at least saw him. I skinned him and got his pelt too. The time I found and skinned him was 11.57 server time.
Figured he wouldn't spawn for the next hours so started questing.
Later that night, i had camped him for 6 hours straight. Actually I had a friend helping me look around while I was in one spot, my boyfriend actually.. Eventually I got tired and got my boyfriend to stay on the spot where I camped, and went off to quest. Minutes later the NPCscan goes off where he was sitting, and I was at the glimmering pillar. OMG. I stopped whatever I was doing and mounted up and flew, heart racing. I had him tag Loque till i got there, and finally there I see him with no other people around. I laid the freezing trap, and started taming. Even forgot to use my Potion of speed, and my hands were shaking. xD
The time was 22.04 server time, same spot, there with the apes.
So I guess 66.5 - 79.3 was the hotspot here.
Anyway, happy hunting all!

I saw Loque both times by both gorilla sides and tamed him on the north gorilla spawn point. :3

Haha, now I kinda feel like helping other hunters out there. I have one that I will tell if I see Loque again, and another one who's looking to kill Loque. :p
Taming is first priority, though xD
Still haven't given mine a name, or spent its talent points.

WarcraftHuntersUnion.com has a good build for BM Ferocity pets.Rakkyo wrote:Haha, now I kinda feel like helping other hunters out there. I have one that I will tell if I see Loque again, and another one who's looking to kill Loque. :p

Mine used to be Loquenahak but not having the ' in his name bothered me so I renamed him to Kakashi.

Can we rename our pets? If I give them a name, the option to rename disappears

Re: Loque' hot spots?
Tonight, 15 minutes ago, at 00.13 server time, I spotted Loque'nahak again.
I had teamed up with a DK looking to kill Loque for the last on the Frostbitten list, so I camped while he patrolled.
I saw him, with my own Loque at my side, and told him to come as fast as possible, and both of us got the kill.^^
It was the other spawnpoint with the apes, at 71.5 - 71.1, so I would definitely recommend the ape spawn point for camping. :p

GRATS on the tame!! The petopia forums are lucky, I swear. I found both Gondria and Arcturis while lurking on the forums, that's what made me decide to join!
I've only ever seen Loque talking to the Goretalon Matriarch or prowling with the Gorillas. I've seen him in both of those locations twice (although, usually dead- I hate skinning him!!)
SWC? As in, Steamwheedle Cartel?? Well you do now!! Add Etona (hunter) and Aerdrie (druid) to your friends list!!Tilo wrote:I don't have any friends on SWC .....

I believe you can buy a scroll from the AH to rename pets?
