Seems that no one has noticed (or at least found it newsworthy) that in the Human starting area (Northshire) some further changes have been made. No more Kobolds or diseased wolves - now you have Goblin assassins, additional Blackrock foes and Blackrock Battle Worgs - level 1 black Northrend style - which are tameable.
Means that from level 10 you can now go around with the "starved" & ferocious appearence of the Northrend wolves. http://www.wow-petopia.com/look/worgblack.html

Were these changes made fairly recently? Since I haven't heard anything about this yet either.
I find it a great change, however the existence of the Blackrock NPCs in Northshire is interesting and yet confusing at the same time. Hoping the quests in the area explain their presence. No more Defias stealing the one lady's grapes? :[
