Having terrible issues keeping P.Dawg summoned between the 310% mounts and pathfinding (which I *NEVER* take, but did this time since we're getting free respecs anyway). >_<

Hour 8. Nothing has changed in the Basin. A few new people have popped in and out, but I haven't seen much of them. I really hope I haven't missed Loque. >_< My energy levels are decent at the moment, but who knows when the steam will go out of this second wind?

Edit: I stand corrected. The mining bots have given way to herbing bots. As long as they're not skinners, I'm cool with whatever.

The GMs on my server don't do anything about the bots. :/ They claim that they'll all get taken out in the next big sweep, but said sweep never occurs. It sucks.

Greetings from down under!

Keep hanging in there Kalliope

Last thursday nite, i decided i had to have King Krush, did research, regemmed, respecd, organised macros and started camping out the basin for king krush fri morning approx 9am local time. Waited all day, had friends drop in to herb and mine and help/keep me company.

4pm sanity starting to slip, no sightings of aotona , loque or king krush

7pm, trying to hang in there, trying to not think about how i am hating camping but due to the busy miners and herbers always in basin i'm too paranoid to queue up for the weekend pvp battleground in case i miss a spawn.

10pm, seirously over camping, half watching Foxtel with sound up in wow for addons to hopefully go off

11pm - addon scares 10 years off my life but LO AND BEHOLD - King Krush spawns on my left a few yards away

So bleary eyed and tired i'm not too nervous and remind myself of all the peeps saying not to panic and to stay calm and do the tame process and macros calmly

First go - send in pet, pet gets feared, am buffed, hit bw, hit macro to abandon pet, King krush chews my face off but......................

First go i tame him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! solo tamed!!!!!!!!

I am the proud friend of my awesome new green devilsaur

So..........keep in there, it works

Got my fingers crossed for u

Grats on Krush, Pink! :) And welcome to the forums!

Hour 9 down, and still nothing. It gives me faith that the Basins on other servers are still yielding rares! Definitely getting loopy here.

Have you been spamming General chat saying you'll pay someone off or something?

YOU CAN DO IT!!

I once spent 10 hours in the Basin with Tilo looking for Loque. By the time 6 a.m. rolled around (after staying up all night), I had to go to bed. May your hunt go a lot better than mine did.

Good luck!!!

 Thanks! ^_^ Although I'm less funny and more delirious from sleep deprivation.

I haven't actually bothered with spamming general chat for him, since I doubt the bots are going to respond. :/ *does another quick check* Yep, two are underleveled flying bots and the two 80s are normal bots. One of the 60-something bots came in later than the other. My guess is that the owner of said bot kicked it on before going to work. It's pretty sad, really. I don't remember there being any bots up when I last really camped the Basin on Dethecus...given, that was a few years ago. I really would be a lot more worried if there was a skinning bot out here, cause then I'd REALLY be worried about missing Loque and not realizing it.

I'm up to 11 eternal fires now.

*pets Circle* Yes, girl, you know alllll about the Basin, don'tcha?

I think the worst part is not having a good idea of Loque's longest possible spawn timer, so I'm not totally sure when I should call the hunt, should it come to that. That point of "okay, I definitely missed him."

Ooh, 12 eternal fires...

who knows maybe you'll save enough mats up to sell to get gold for a Mechano-hog or Mekingeer's Chopper?

It doesnt hurt to spam general once in a while, or even leave yourself camped in one location and take a short break or something.

~side question, how do these bots work? are they addons? are they farmer bots that regular people get? I remember I had a guild member back in Vanilla that used a bot to farm/level up ~ he got caught eventually and played the whole "why me?" card... it was funny (on my end)

Unfortunately, I already have my chopper. >_< Well, not that that's unfortunate, since motorcycles are BADASS, but it means I don't really need the fires. I'm just popping the engineering clouds into my bag because I have nothing else to do out here.

I have parked a few times already to break shortly, which has been good. I'm just afraid to stop circling for too long, lest I miss him spawn behind me.

As for more specific details on the bots, I haven't the slightest idea. The downside of being ignorant in that area.

Rolling up on the ten hour mark. I am very not amused. >_<

*faint* So, just shy of 10 am (aka the end of the 10th hour), Loque spawned at Azzy's birthplace (the bones near the Frenzyheart encampment). Needless to say, I got jumpy and the whole thing was a blur, but I managed to set my dear Atalanta free for the day and get Hippomenes home. I didn't get to hug her or anything; my hands were shaking too hard because after ten hours, I really wasn't expecting to see him.

This is a big deal to me; I've never been without Atalanta from the beginning. She's my baby, right up there with Ursa. The thing is, Atalanta is Hippomenes's mate. If anyone was going to bring him home, it was going to be her. I couldn't STAND the thought of them being apart for days, weeks, months while everyone else camped the friggin' Basin. There was no one else who could do this at this time other than her. I think we need the brief time apart too; I've felt a distance between us for a long time, but I've never wanted to part with her out of loyalty. Hopefully, this very very short vacation will do us both some good and we'll be bonded like we were back in Karazhan again.

I do not look forward to finding ghost saber figurines again, but it beats the friggin' Basin.

Thank you all for your support; I would never have made it through the night otherwise. :)
