Disappearing Pets in 4.0.1 [hotfixed; may need server reset]

I logged in this morning to find Hector and Orpheus missing from my stable. No one else was missing.

Looks like I was wrong about permanent pets being safe from this bug.

Kallimon wasn't missing anyone, though.

So yeah, keep tabs on your pets.

Wow that sucks. I'll have to pull Fandralas out of my stable and keep him at my side at all time. I hope you guys get them back! /hug

I lost Zarbi my Wasp. Funny thing is, his icon is still there but when I click it I get my Wolf, Hobo. Hobo's icon is gone and he doesn't appear in my stable.

Have you tried shuffling the stabled pets around? I've heard the icons can overlap sometimes.

I'm not surprised at all, they never fixed it on Beta, they rushed things, and now it's on Live.

I have NOT had issues with my pet bar buttons disappearing, though. And I've even pulled pets out of the inactive stable with their talents intact. So these are good things, at least.

Haven't checked all of my hunters yet, but the only funny business I've noticed so far was when trying to summon my boar - even though the icon was there, and it let me add him to my call pet box, when I actually cast call pet and selected him, it would say "You do not have a pet to summon" X[ However, after shuffling my pets back and forth between the call pet box and the stable a few times, that seemed to go away.

I'd check the rest of my hunters but servers are down now - looks like they took them down for rolling restarts and ended up breaking something rather important, because everything is down atm, not just a few servers currently being bounced...

I'm not expecting a patch to be released completely bugless. I never am. But this one is far more than that. So far, I've seen blinking water, skeletons jumping out of walls, one mob respawning the instant I killed it four times, and very badly designed new talenttrees. A bit much for one patch, don't ya think? And even then, I haven't even gotten started on various class-bugs.
