I might have to try for that 24 slot one...

I haven't used a quiver/ammo bag since they got rid of the attack speed and made the ammo stack to 1000...I just keep 6 or so stacks in my last bag and I can use the extra bag slot for more other crap.

So, in Cataclysm, Do Hunters still have quivers if they use a bow or crossbow? 'Cause it looks cool on my back...

I think it's been said that they animation and the quiver is still there, but actually you won't have a quiver to put ammo in anymore, cause there won't be any ammo. So yes, you can still see one, even if it's not actually there.

Well I was able to get the feather this morning, but I couldn't get the sinew to drop and the boss must have already been killed this week.

I guess I'll see if the quest can still be completed after the patch goes live. I was really hoping to complete today :(

When I was working on mine, i asked in trade if anyone had one (checked the AH, none for sale).

Lucked out SO much, this DK sold me one for about 100g I think it was? Anyhow I was sooo pleased, and I got my epic quiver.

I got my Lamina today. I had the Petrified Leaf in my bank for months, and finally opted to get it before the patch. Five hours of farming blue dragonkin later with 7 friends? No sinew. One of my friends pops over the Azshara, and lo and behold Azuregos is just wandering around. Needless to say: I now have my lamina. :)

Meh. I have about the same on my main. Of all the things that are broadcasted across the internet, gold is the least of my worries.

Grats you two on getting your quiver before the patch!

I wasn't so lucky. I had also checked the AH and looked for Azuregos. None on the AH and only the Spirit of Azuregos was around.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Azuregos will still drop it and I can still turn it in quest for the quiver (and if so that it will auto-convert to the 24-slot bag.

As a backup, I did make the Nerubian quiver, so I could at least have a fair size one should I not be able to get the quest completed after the patch.

oh my god!
ROFLMAO

I noticed that they said Warlock soul shard bags also got transformed into large bags... so I got the 32-slot bag.. and I now have a 22 slot bag in replacement! yay!

So, is anyone able to confirm whenther or not the Lamina quest is doable at this point? I missed my chance, and would love one, but it would be nice to find out if the quest chain is still active and if the new Lamina bag winds up being the reward.

With patience you can solo it. If you get a tank along, it's a breeze. Well, it was before 4.0.1 hit, I haven't been back down there yet.

Im kicking myself for not going down to MC to get my leaf sooner. I hope the lamina is still doable after 4.0.1. I think I have the sinew in my bank still.

Unfortunately I had terrible luck in MC during old guild runs and the leaf never dropped during the runs I was on. Always that damn eye :x

I managed to get myself a lamina bag too before the patch hit.

I still had the quest
so I went farming in winterspring with my hunter but then i thought lets check the Horde AH (my main is alliance) but i have a low level horde on it as well and there was a sinew on the AH for a meagerly 50 gold (I flipped XD)

so my plan?
I have a spare (second) account with a low level alliance on it
so I moved both alliance characters to darna (traded some money from one to the other)
logged horde on my main account and started moving the char to winterspring (was a druid so its was pretty fast :P) mucked up with the rez (died in the tunnel) so i had to travel twice.
then I logged back to my other low level char and was in the progress moving to winterspring (pff what a journey XD)
luckily a friend log on who has a horde char. and asked him to buy the sinew and we traded through the neutral AH.

Was a lot of stress but in the end it payed of :3

edit: I think I read somewhere that is you have the quest still in your log you can still do it. someone completed the quest after the patch and still got the bag so :D

not sure about if the quest is still available now tho (most likely it is) the leaf still drops I think after the patch

Would love to see a cited source here, if you remember the link at all. :)

This does stand to reason, though, since the Hand of Ad'al and Champion of the Naaru titles were similarly available after they were patched out to players who had been far enough along in the quest chains to still be able to receive credit. If this is indeed the case, then hunters would have time until the landscape changes.

LFG MC!!!! hehe not sure if I should attempt a majordomo solo without 2 piece T5. Anyone know if its possible using a turtle or worm (for aoe)?

Found a comment on wowhead that the questline is indeed still doable after 4.0.1

Majordomo is actually one of the easier ones to pet tank. I normally do it with my worm, throw a mend pet (with glyph of mending, silverback) and send him for one of the healers. Pick off that healer, switch pet and yourself to next healer, then 3rd, then the rest. Did that easily before I had 2pc T5. :)

Wow great to hear Anyia, thanks for your advice! Are you able to run straight through to Domo or do any bosses have to be downed first?

They changed MC so any boss can be killed at any time, I believe.
