Need a new class.

Ok so alot of you know that I have been wanting to do a new class due to the fact my three highest chars are all hunters. Hell ALL my high level chars are hunters. So what I decided to wait until the changes for all the classes before I started a new char. Well the changes have happened. So I decided now would be a good time to start a new char before cata hits and I start my worgan or human hunter up ><.
so here are some ideas on what im thinking.

warlock-cause I heard they were alot of fun, kinda like mages with pets.

Mage-Why half arse magic damage with warlock and shaman and go for the gold with Mage

...maybie druid=but I head alot of their versitility is gone when it comes to tanking and now there more a support heal class as opposed to DPS or tank.

Palidin-looks like fun maybie

Rogue-I have heard they are less about stun locks more about burst speed damage, like speedly little light armored warriors. Sounds fun

I'd say it's a close battle between Lock and Mage. The Mage has better kiting, which is good for PvP, but the Warlock's Fears and DOTs can eat stuff up quickly, not to mention a Felguard if you go Demo. Personally, I find myself enjoying Mages, even after 4.0.1. Locks are still decent, but they're... Different.

If you really haven't played any other class before besides Hunter, I'd say go with Warlock. Another pet class really helps to ease the transition, from my experience.

My first ever made character was druid, and when i noted the huge changes, i also saw the boomkin is now for lvl29minimum! i went straight to level my very old Balance Druid Tauren, right now im somewhere between 31-32 and i really enjoy playing druid. all the classes you mentioned are fun to play, but you gotta test them all and decide. my advice for you is to take a druid, it is a very fun class with many options, even after the patch.

I'd say Rogue i have been playing mine lately and man 1 shoting with a ambush is so fun!

Personally, I've never found casters that entertaining (altho my little lock was fun for a bit), why cast from range when u can insta smash it with a hunter? lul, anyway trying a hybrid first as others said is a good way to test out different playstyles. I found that if im not smashing I prefer to heal, then tank, in that order.
Droods are awesome tho. It's like you ARE the pet, hehe.
