Thoughts on how "easy" mountain o mounts will be in Cata...

I don't understand how the shading on the Alliance dragonhawk has anything to do with whether or not they'll be getting another number of mounts to make up for the fact the worgen aren't getting any... or whether they'll get another bunch of horses and cats versus a whole new look.

We'll see what ends up happening... but I don't see why Blizz would make the same mistake twice. I'm certain they learned from the whole experience with the Tauren and I doubt they'd rush out and do the same again and say it's perfect for the race... if they're not more certain.

Well it's mostly my bitterness over them having a better mount and all. The other fact is, as I pointed out with Tauren- and Horde of all things, there was a SEVERE imbalance for mounts that far surpassed the alliance. While only gnomes and dwarves could ride mechachickens, Taurens couldn't ride anything/only Kodo then only Wolves- and then for the war mounts, only a Kodo, Wolf and Raptor. Everything else was forbidden.

Then the Frostsaber and Venomhide Ravasaur; again it took a long time to balance this out.

So, while alliance may have an imbalance to begin with, I say in a year or two Worgen will have mounts.

It's probably less same mistake twice and more they don't know what the flip to give worgen. I bet they were possibly going to go with something like a were horse- mounted while worgen your horse would be this grotesque wolf thing. While human, a normal horse. But then everyone whines But I'm tired of horses, infact it could have been a wolfhorse creature instead of a pig- as there aren't any boars/pigs in the worgen starting zone at all to boot too.

Ontop of that

Festival Mounts
Craft Mounts
Rep Reward Mounts in Northrend
PVP mounts
the formerly special unarmored Venomhide and Frostsaber
etc etc.

And also they will most likely equal this out, why? Because Goblins have mounts. How could you race change from Goblin to anything when your equiv is a Worgen? So yeah, this is not something that needs to be worried about because by the time you're allowed to faction/race change, undoubtedly, Worgen WILL have a mount.

The seahorse is a water mount, increases 300% movement speed or something in the water. Its from a quest,but there are many different models of it found in the game files. Its not known yet if you will pick a color after the quest or more will be purchasable elsewhere.

It is known engineering, alchemy, achievements, guild rep, and reputations will all yield new mounts.

It's 450% now.
