Any news on the Night Elf Starting Tiger model?

I've not seen anything myself, but anyone else caught glimpse of another mount-style White Tiger (NE Starter pet) elsewhere in the game?

I had a discussion with an EU GM on live earlier today - they will not be granting 'requests' for them but they do concede that it is not currently obtainable in-game. The GM remains hopeful that it will become available in Cataclysm.

I guess all we can do is make a post on the suggestions forum (live and Cata's!?) and see what happens.
I also hope the black long faced cat becomes tameable (Duskfang in Swamp of Sorrows).

I've seen them around on moon guard. They're beautiful. I wish everyone else could tame one like people can tame mastiffs come cata.

Every time I see a white cat I check closer in case it's one of that skin/model, but so far I've seen nothing

I'm not sure if it's a coincidence, but sometimes I get the feeling they're really paying attention to suggestions.
