Rise of the Shadows!

((Last post before bed for me, wanted to finish off Gamin's evolution before I went though. WALL OF TEXT. Hopefully will be up earlier tomorrow, don't want to miss more epic fights.))

Seventeen smelled Gamin before she saw him. She had been dozing in the sun once more, having flipped back onto her back once his screams had stopped. She was curious as to see the results. She was not disappointed when she caught sight of the newly evolved Mightyena. She got up, stretched, then moved over to sniff at him.

"So Boss," Gamin said, surprised to hear his voice had deepened to a rolling bass-barritone. "Seems I've gone though a bit of a growth spurt." He began to roll his lower jaw around. "Urg, this voice is gonna to take a while to get used to."

Seventeen was impressed, although she was surprised it his evolution hadn't happened sooner. Still, hard to argue with these results. Poochyena Gamin had been little more than an annoyance to their enemies, his job had been to distract whislt the bigger Hounds went for the kill. Mightyena Gamin was a whole different monster, he looked fully capable of doing some serious damage to anything unwise enough to get in his way. And he wasn't too bad on the eyes either. She barked at him, letting him know she was pleased.

Gamin grinned. "So, what's the plan Boss?" he asked, ears and tail pricked up.
Seventeen thought about the question; She could go back to her Alpha and report. He would surely like to hear about their semi-success in the Shrine of the Guardian of the Seas. But she was enjoying her freedom, her ability to choose her targets and attack then when she wished. To be completely truthful, she wouldn't have minded going back to sleep. That sun felt heavenly, not to mention it had been a long time since she had a chance to relax like this.
But Gamin was tense, brimming with post evolution energy. Simply ignoring that could lead him into doing something stupid, like attacking a Human settlement by himself. or pissing off another legendary. Of course, there were other ways to deal with excess energy, he was a superb looking Mightyena... Seventeen quickly dismissed the idea. It was never a good idea for a leader to, ah, entangle themselves with an underling. Such fraternisations often lead to a break down of the pecking order. Ah well, there was no helping it. She threw back her head and howled, summoning Venin from whatever pond she had cralwed into.

Venin sighed, the boss was calling, she dared not miss it either. She slivered out the lake, solidifying fully and stretching on the shore. She walked over to where she last saw Seventeen, only to find her boss with a tall, dusk-infected Mightyena. His eyes and stance seemed familiar, as did his scent... It couldn't be.
"Gamin?" The vaporeon squinted, moving closer. When the Mightyena grinned, she burst out laughing. "Damn, you fill out well runt! Might see you be of some use now."
"Hah! I'd watch your mouth now Venin," Gamin took a step forward, still grinning. "I'm not the weak little puppy you pushed about."
Venin was about to retort when Seveteen snapped her teeth at them, stopping the quarrel before it started. Venin glared at the manectric, angry that her fun had been stopped, but said nothing.

Seventeen looked at her Hounds, grinned, then ran off with her nose to the winds. She had to admit that some of Gamin's enthusiasm was rubbing off on her. She was looking forward to the hunt that was before then and she couldn't wait to see what the Mightyena could do.

[Kira]

Losa stood up and shook herself off, smiling at Somna again. "Let's go then!"

Ciro blinked at Dialga, then sank at bit as he heard the Beedrill. He glanced up at the bug, shifting a little bit closer to Dialga. He'd trust the lord ot time any day over a bug. "W-what is it?" He muttered, shifting slightly. I think that my parents would probably rip you to pieces Dialga. But I'll tell them I wanted to go!

[Magnakilro]

The beedrill spoke, "Jirachi....Jirachi could override the work of another legendary if someone wished for it...he could send you back in time....resurrect you from the Alpha's Judgement....among other things....but only if he deems you worthy..."

[Kira]

Ciro stared at the beedrill and then let out a whine. "But does he let people have more than one wish? I've already used one before..." He sighed and shook his head. "I guess I could try it...thank you for reminding me.." He glance up at him and shivered. "Sorry..but...bugs really Scare me."

[Magnakilro]

The beedrill tilted his head, "Really? You seemed pretty secure around a Pinsir, a Yanmega and an Ariados...its probably the stingers..."

[Azunara]

Dialga flashed a slight grin at Ciro. "You're brave, kid. You're going to make an impressive fighter one day. You know, first time i saw you fight, two years ago, my first thought was, "Oh, Arceus. That kid is going to be a problem if we don't keep him out of the battle. You were strong enough to make even me worried. as for your parents, we'll hold 'em off. Could be worse." He looked at the Beedrill. "We'll have to consider that, but we have another issue. The Dusk have gotten bold, they're attacking Mount Coronet. I need to go defend my home. I'm sure Palkia isn't too happy either."

Solara looked at the bug, tilting her head, "Yes, I'm Solara. Talk quickly," She flicked her tail, then sent a blast of psychic energy to a once-Dawn, sending them to the ground. "We're under attack."

Kiren grinned, releasing another jet of flame, only to have it extinguished to oblivion by another creature. She snarled. Who spoiled her fu-oh. Oh no. There was an angry roar, and the Dawn, the once-Dawn-now Dusk, and Kiren froze. Palkia landed into the center of the temple, and snarled. "Dialga...Hurry up." He said mentally to the Lord of Time.

[Magnakilro]

The lead beedrill spoke, "Chomp sent me to look for you...he was worried..."

[Kira]

"Wait..they're Bugs?" Ciro tilted his head. "I guess I've just been around them for so long.." He tilted his head again and blinked. "I guess it is the stingers..they're just so...yeaaah." His attention turned to Dialga at his message and he smiled, blushing rather proudly. I'll just get yelled at, that's all. I can take it! Let's go!!

Eon tilted her head a bit as she scooted under Ark, who simply let her. "I'mscared.."
"Still a kid." Ark said with a little laugh as he looked down at Eon.
"Hey, shut up..."

[Azunara]

Dialga grinned slightly, "Coming, Palkia. Remember to keep safeguards up and they can't Infect you." He looked at the beedrill, "You coming?"

Palkia used Safeguard!

He slashed at a few Dusk that dared attack him, roaring angrily. Solara grinned at Ark and Eon, before looking back at the beedrill. "He was? Still, you guys seem to get along fine without me." She bristled, all too aware of the nearby Dusk.

Kiren glared at the Space Lord. "Meanie!" She shouted at him, leaping and tackling a poor marill, infecting them before moving on and blasting a few flying types that swooped down at her.

[Magnakilro]

The lead beedrill got battle ready, "If they could get along fine without you, I don't think they would've sent me and my scouts to find you..."

He looked ahead ready to fight the Dusk.

He let out a unique buzz pattern to let the scouts know that Sol has been found and that aid is needed.

The beedrill raised its head. He flew ahead of Dialga, answering the leader's call.

He was joined by the rest of the swarm.

[Kira]

Eon looked out from under Ark and let out what sounded like an attempt at a growl.
Ark sighed and simply shoved Eon out, grinning as she yelped. "You coming Sunshine?" He asked as he grinned at Solara before he lept into the battle.
"ARK!" Eon whined as she ran after him, starting to attack whens he got the nerve up.

Ciro let out a cry as he headed after the Beedrill, not running but floating. Hey, he learned a few things from his dad...never though he'd actually Use them though.

[Azunara]

Dialga nodded, and and moved even faster, leaping into his timelines and appearing seconds later besides Palkia. He roared as well, and the Dusk paused. Another one? Solara stuck her tongue out at Ark, "Hey, Ark! Don't believe me now? That's Dialga, right there. You can ask him about my story." She then looked at the beedrill, tail lashing. "Besides. It took a few days for them to even care or notice."

[Magnakilro]

"That doesn't mean they hate you or stopped caring....maybe something came up...." the leader replied as he fired Poison Stings at the Dusk.

The Beedrill swarm arrived at the battleground going on stinging frenzies on whatever Dusk they saw.

[Kira]

Ark was using Flamethrower on and Dusk that was stupid enough to get close to him. Eon stayed close, using her Psybeam and Psychic when she could.
Ark used Flamethrower!
Eon used Psybeam!
Eon used Psychic!

Ciro arrived at the cave a bit after Dialga and let out a growl before he formed a ball of Psychic power infront of him and sent it at the Dusk.
Ciro used Psycho Boost!

[Azunara]

Solara didn't seem very convinced. The Dusk were still rather far off. Despite this small group here, they were on the other side of the world, practically. What else was there to be worried about? She swiped at a few Dusk.

Kiren groaned. Two of them? She brightened though. The Time one was Infected. Only a matter of time before the Dusk won him. She leaped amongst the Dusk, dodging beedrills and biting what Dusk she could, grinning wickedly.

[Kira]

Ciro tossed Safeguards around everyone he could, though he did not stop attacking. He did not like the dusk, at all..they had hurt him and his parents, he was not pleased! He targeted a random Dusk as he landed, charging.
Ciro used Zen Headbutt!

Mewtwo looked at Deoxys and nodded. "We may as well head back. Nothing more we can do here."
Lugia glanced around. "I'll stay for a bit longer, to make sure that everything is alright. Then I'm going home to my family."

[Senna-Umbreon]

Sirius stared at the Buizel for a few moments. Attacking it could be useful, but it could also bring more of the Unifected to the area-- Ack! That scent! The Umbreon and Rampardos! Crap, they must have followed him! Leaving the Buizel to whatever it had been doing before he got there, Sirius backed up then raced towards the river before jumping across it. He darted away from the river as fast as possible, hoping that he wouldn't be followed this time.

((I'm really starting to like my Jolteon.. XD))

[Azunara]

Speck was more or less better, able to get up at least. She got ready to leave.

Palkia used Dragon Claw!
Dialga used Ancient Power!

If Solara thought Dialga alone was fearsome, the pair working together was een worse. She had no idea how Deoxys had defeated them, but she knew the Dusk wouldn't. She looked back at the beedrill, caught between conversation and throwing herself into the fight. She growled.

[Magnakilro]

The lead beedrill, while taking out a few Dusks continued, "Look...I don't know much about your friends...but since you left, I noticed the feraligatr looking worried the whole time.....each day coming out to see if you were coming back....I guess he considers you as a close friend or someone of importance....when I asked him what I could do for him, he almost immediately said, "Please find our friend, Solara."

He fired off the Beedrill signature move, Twineedle at the Dusks.

The swarm was frantically stinging and poisoning Dusks.

Ironskull stopped just before the river. He backed off, looking scared.

Deoxys nodded and teleported back to the cave.

[rubybeam]

Quest stared at the ledegendarys "ARRGGGG THREE GODS IN ONE DAY!" quest snaped her jaws in annoyance taking her turn to attack a helpless baby trapinch who tried to snap back at her in defence, it unfortantly died right away letting of a scream of fear before it died it was soon consumed


Somna nodded "Right! first one to find more food wins!" he raced off into the forest on all fours
