so, which pvp pet?...

Unread post by Slickrock »

PVE we have a lot of choices, mainly based on the buffs.

But.. PVP? Assuming BM, is Chimera the king?...

I'd roll with a silithid. It's like a spider, only with fortitude too.

That said, I do have a rhino too. The knockback makes me giggle.

Well.....I brought out my spirit beast instead....and he made the alliance run in terror cause he was just mauling face and they couldn't kill him. It really surprised me! I didn't expect a spirit beast to be that good.

I still haven't gotten to confirm if the devilsaur mortal strike stacks with widow venom, but devilsaurs are very easy targets to begin with and warriors in particular are focusing pets in order to heal themselves with victory rush, so I dunno if it's worth it even if they do stack.

If I was heading into a BG today, I'd go tame a silithid. From my stable though, I'd probably grab Arcturis. I imagine the reason he was so hard to kill is probably cause spirit mend cast on himself when he was taking damage. :D

Chimera is great for kiting and runners. Not to mention it obscures vision.

Silithid was like the spider but it's Trap also used to do dmg.

I think I'd go for the Chimera, now. I grabbed a snow one and named him Chinook. :)

I think you're right that it doesn't, but that's not a huge loss, since the most important part was the parallel with spider's web. Now the two webs really are the same, only silithids also bring fort with theirs.

So I got my Silithid, now trying to figure out if any of the Wrathful melee weapons are worth getting, since you can get them with honor now.

Do the paired axes. At least for PvP.
