King Krush Hunt

Well on the hunt for King Krush, there was a horde hunter toying with me a little. I thought he was just being a pain in my rear but he asked me to wait, emote-like and then whispered me on a lvl 1 alt, telling me about someone killing Krush 2 hours prior. I told him that was a shame. He asked me if I was hunting for him. I told him yes. He said he was too. We assured each other that whoever gets him first, gets him...like we wont steal from each other. It was nice.

I've HAD to have him once WotLK hit. Hunted him for weeks. Made me see things

I made /w macro and sent them to /who sholazar basin people, offering them gold in return for spending time helping me look.

One time one of my guildies told me he spotted him, but by the time I got there an ally has killed him already (stupid achivs).

Second time I saw him, started taming but two allies came and killed him.

Third time I got him. My gear was below naxx, gemmed + enchanted for stam + haste, used all scrolls \ engineer haste glove enchent \ food etc. to give me haste + health. I made a macro to use TBW (for fear immunity) + abandon my pet + stat taming. When I finished the tame I had about 400 health left

I to am spending time trying to hunt the king...no sign thus far. There were a few other hunters in the area and after some whispers, found tha one was camping Aotona, one was hunting loque and I was hunting the king. We had some nice conversations and anytime one of us did a circuit of the basin, we let the other's know if we had seen any of them. It was rather nice that we each wer ehunting something else, and were willing to help eachother out.

Hopefully I will find this elusive Dino soon...

/sing I've been hunting in the basin, all the live long day. Seen the miners mining, but not a spawn has come my way...Oh, I've been hunting in the basin all the livlong day, seen the herbers herbing, justt opass the day away...etc

HUGE gratz mate

I've had "the shakes" twice in WoW - first time was when I've reached level 21 and tamed Humar the Pridelord after a LONG stalk, and the second time was when I've tamed King Krush. Savor that feeling.

Now try to keep track of how long you are going to stare at him and toss him heals with the mend pet glyph - even when he's got full happiness and you've only just tossed him a heal 8 seconds ago

Oh yes. It took me maybe two shots of mend pet to get him happy. Then he decided to take out a mammoth bull all by himself and killed it within like 3 hits and it was lvl 75 too. XD

Just tamed my 2nd King Krush within a few days of one another, my server is generally dead late at night. Was out looking for Loq and ran into him again, didn't have the heart to kill him though and took him under my wing. So now I have twins Jackpot and ChaChing, the paladin that flew up as I finished taming wasn't too pleased with my obsession, supposedly Krush was the last rare he needed for Frostbitten. I would have asked if anyone needed to tame him, but I was the only alliance hunter in the zone.

Congrats on your tame, he is a very pretty pet imo.

I'd rather a tame than a killing. The achievement doesnt give you anything so honestly, i never saw it to be worth it.

I told the guy in general that he is too pretty to be killed, otherwise I would have put him down.

Yeah, he is really. I could never kill any of the spirit beasts or the rares on sholazar.

Same here, partly because I still need to tame most of them myself

Well even on my druid, I never could bring myself to kill them.

I would probably ask my gf to log on and come and facetank them until I got out there to tame them.

She would humor me a few times, until it got out of hand and then she would probably come out and kill them so she didn't have to sit and wait.

Day nine for the KK hunt for me... he spawned at 1-2pm server... which is about 4 hours before I get off of work.

I am never going to get him. Everytime I offer anything in trade I usually get a jerk or two that lets me know that he is just going to kill him if he sees him.

What is funny about that... 10min later the people who talk crap like that aren't even in the zone anymore.
