Hunters aren't the only ones with a right to rares. You may not like it, but that paladin who was killing Krush when you were flying by? He had just as much a right to kill it as you had to tame it. I'm not saying like stealing a rare, but killing a rare when a hunter who wants it flies by.Taluwen wrote:Saturo: You're entitled to that. :) Though Distracting Shot wouldn't work if the other hunter already hit tame.

Much gratitude to Spiritbinder for the signature and Vephriel for the avatar! <3
You hit it right on the nosey. :3 The whole 'tame beast' thing wouldn't work if someone else tagged it first unless perhaps they were grouped with the person.Sarayana wrote:I don't think Taluwen means that hunters should be able to use Tame Beast to "steal" a kill from another player. The point of it is to ensure that the tagged mob you're in the process of taming doesn't get killed while you're taming. I didn't read any kind of "right to tame" in her post, merely an appeal to help lessen the griefing.
That being said, even if Blizz does implement this (and I support the idea, I think the current system is way too open to griefing) there will always be jerks who find a way to abuse it.
I think the tornado ones are Wind/Air.kamoodle5 wrote:I would have to agree for the sake of hunters. It would be less stressful for GM's to have to deal with griefers that love to kill a rare pet from right under the hunter's nose while they are taming, and it would be a lot less stressful for hunters that mourn in flabbergasting awe as they watch their beloved pet they wanted so much to fall into the dark hands of the griefers. It's very rewarding for a well-deserved hunter to leave happy with a brand new pet to show off without that fear burning into their minds.
For the elemental pets concerning with both mages and shamans, I've always wondered, "Where does that leave the tornado elementals?" The last nature element. Druids could have something like that.
Yep, it's wind. Funny how no class has those as minions. Druids would make a lot of sense, especially balance druids. Balance druids already got typhoon and hurricane, which produce a lot of wind. I can imagine a moonkin summoning one.Taluwen wrote:I think the tornado ones are Wind/Air.I know Murmur is Sound though.
