Question: Karazhan animal bosses

Rokad the Ravager is definitely tameable on beta, but could a kindly beta tester please check on the following things:

1. Shadikith the Glider (bat boss)
2. Hyakiss the Lurker (spider boss)
3. Any animals in that section who are level 71 or higher

None of these are marked as tameable on live and I'd love to know if these have changed. Thanks in advance!

Oh, and the Vampiric Shadowbats were still untameable.

Oh weird. One of the random bosses should always spawn when all three sections of the quarters are fully cleared. Takes about half an hour for the mobs to fully respawn (based off the first trash kill) for the second boss spawn.

Oh. I didn't realize you had to clear to get them to spawn! My guild never bothered with them back then. I'll try again tomorrow

Yeah, most people never did them! I figure that they most likely won't change...but hey, the demon dogs did, so why not?

Be sure to also turn on track hidden, I know the spider is stealthed in there, and tends to hide in a corner. Or at least it does still currently on live~

On that note, keeping track hidden on ALL THE TIME is a good idea! Since we can now without overriding other trackings.

Thanks to this thread I finally got to see the servants' quarters in Karazhan. Like Wain, I never did that section with my guild. Love the music, such good ambience! Though at 80 pulling all the demon dogs at once was a bit of a risque thing to do...

Hee! And it's really a huntery section of the instance too. The instance is mostly filled with undead, a few demons, some elementals, some mechanicals, and some unknowns. This section is (well, will be in Cata) all beasts. It's fun!

Shadikith is not tameable.

Shadowbats and Greater Shadowbats are. I forgot to check the spiders. (EDIT: Both types of spiders are tameable, but both have the same model.)

Gotta wait for respawns, hopefully Hyakiss will spawn next time.

How weird that Shadikith at least didn't get flagged, since they bothered flagging the demon....unless it's all an oversight and he got flagged with the rest of the demon dogs.

I know, it shouldn't be a big deal. None of the three bosses in that section have unique models. Still, I like consistency. >_> And besides, they have cool names.

After a detour to Opera, I came back.

Bad news everyone. Hyakiss is not tameable.



So that leaves Hyakiss, Shardikith, and Vampiric Shadowbats as unable to be tamed. Everything else in the basement is tameable.

I do think it's a silly little oversight to leave those three unflagged, but considering that it's level 70 content, I wouldn't expect this to make anyone's priority list of fixes. xD
