Here I go a-hunting...

So my main ally hunter Evandelle has started a "hunting spree" of sorts since 4.0.1 came out, where I've decided to get..and re-get in some cases the following pets:

Re-tame:
Arcturis
Aotona
Skoll

and Tame for the first time, thanks to the new low tame timer:
King Krush

I've placed my other 80s in grizzly, and two spots in Storm Peaks, while Evandelle is sitting and occasionally circling Sholazar. So far over the past few days I have seen more rares. 4 days ago, I spotted a dead Vyragosa, but I logged on later, when I thought might be a good time for Skoll to spawn and he did not show for the 2 hours I camped there, so I went back to Sholazar. Yesterday at 4:50 pm I log onto Evandelle in the Basin and what's to greet me? A dead Krush. I'm not surprised, I have tried to camp Krushy before, but it never worked out. I just have a new found passion for him, because if I find him, I'm pretty confident I'll actually tame him unlike in the past.

So now it's 5:20ish am, and I've just found Loque in the Basin about 15 minutes ago. I did a /who but I was surprisingly the only person online in the zone. I did another circle around the Basin, and waited a little while to see if a hordie might pop up, but no one showed. I didn't want to kill him, I already had him marked on my achievement, so I tamed another Loque. I switched his gender, and named her Hera...to go with my first Loque Zeus.

Anyhoo..I felt like I needed to document this in some sort of way, so that when I'm feeling down I might be able to get hope from you guys to stick to the spree, and keep updating on here.

Wow. That's quite a project!!

I would recommend focusing on one at the time. I think you have a better chance that way, though I could be wrong... I'm not really good at this rare finding thing.

Good Luck on your hunt. Hoping for you the best luck, my advice for you is to try getting a few rares at once, and NEVER give up. I got Loque from a random check in Sholazar Basin.. a few minutes Before server restart, the rares will spawn when you least except they will. And another advice, start from your favorite rare. Good Luck. =)

Yeah I totally am starting with my favorite rare...that being Krush..That's why Evan is stationed in the Basin...which is where I circled for about 4 hours straight today and nothing showed up. I didn't see anything on my alts stationed at Storm Peaks or Grizzly either =/

Ah well, I'm going to continue on looking!
