I'd say a worm

I just read somewhere that they boosted the worm dps to make up for the lacklustre Multishot in BM. So... worm.

yeah, if you dont mind swiching a lot; but i like my chimaera so much with this focus system that i find myself having her out if my pet buffs are not needed. more focus for me, plus slowing mobs, plus aoe (even if its low damage) has made Ororo my top raid pet.

Now don't quote me on all of this because I haven't done anything that can be considered "testing" but I think the chimera AOE works a bit different. For one I think it has a shorter cooldown (can someone verify for me?) and it effects mobs in an area in front of the chimera. So its more situational in that it is probably only effective against a smaller number of mobs, but it can be used more frequently.
Worm AOE effects quite a large area, has a long duration, but a long 30 second cooldown meaning it can only really be used once on a trash pack.

From WHU:
It's also being discussed here, which is where I found this source. Thanks Anyia!I also played around with the new worm Burrow, and it’s pretty f’ing sweet — on the beta (at level 85 in garbage gear) it was ticking for around 1,600 damage. Compare this with Multi-Shot hitting for around 1,000 damage. It looks like the worm pet might be the BM solution to AoE — SV gets Serpent Spread/Imp Serpent Sting; MM has Bombardment with Wild Quiver, and BM does it not through a talent or a shot, but through their pet. It’s kind of fitting. While it may be a tenacity pet, keep in mind that all pets do the same base damage with the same base scaling, so the only loss from a dps-specced tenacity pet is the 9% from Spider’s Bite ferocity talent.

Lol. Personally, I don't like either. Which is why I tamed the disembodied jormungar.Antares wrote:Chimaera's look cooler...

Hey thanks for your post Aoani- it's finally sunk into my thick skull that pets are going to have the same base damage now. Thank you for that!
Personally I've found the Chimera ability fairly hard to manually use- it's extremely reliant on positioning. Worms, however, have a large range so the position isn't quite so critical. Even with a longer cooldown, I am happier with something that requires slightly less pet management.
