So, am playing around with my UI and came up with this:



What do you folks think? A little feedback would be appreciated!

I kinda' like it. The big boxes and the empty space around them kind of turns me off from it, but overall I like what you've done with it. :P

I like it though I prefer Spartan UI's map being down below rather than way at the top.

It's the black bar of DOOM, only yellow boxes!

You might wanna size those down. Are you using a viewpoint mod for the bottom so you aren't actually covering half of your screen?

I have a similar look for my UI, with the two chat/combat logs on the side and the buttons in the middle with frames, but see how much less room they take up? Just an example you could try to recreate.

I like it but I agree with the others, the boxes are too big. I am always trying to see more of the screen, so I'd definitely scale them down.

The layout is fine, but I'm with the others about the boxes. I like seeing as much as the screen as possible, so unnecessary backgrounds that block portions of it out aren't to my tastes.

Just be careful with resizing the actual world view though - doing so bugs out the water effects on the higher settings. Resizing the world frame does have the advantage of not hiding anything however, so I still do it.

While I myself prefer to have as much free screen space as possible, I can see why you would like the setup you have there. ^^ I've been tweaking my UI lately, and last night came up with this.

The chat frame is still a bit off, as I'm in the process of finding the perfect addons to make it look good.

BF: Darion really fits with the rest of your UI. It looks amazing! I like your simplistic bars as well. Have you considered putting some kind of frame around them, and some kind of rounding on the bars? I think that would look AMAZING.

Here's the most recent version. Looks like I've forgotten to get rid of tht XP bar at the top... I also added a black bar around the bigger XP bar.

You never know. If people like it enough, they might put it on Curse or something. :3
