No talent wipe?!
So today I pulled my worm outta my stable for the soloing of Drak tharon for a few quests, and noticed something... None of his talents were wiped... Is this something I missed, or did Blizz just do away with that silly concept?

I've noticed that too. However, sometimes, randomly it seems, their talents are getting wiped. I don't know if it's "fixed" or glitched or what.

I don't seem to have had any of my pets' talents wiped when I use the stable. I'm not sure if it's intended either, but I'm not complaining. x)

Hmmmm. I'm actually not sure if I'm glad that our pets' talents aren't getting wiped or not. Yes, having to constantly respec the pets you switch out would get annoying, but it would be nice to have the flexibility to, say, spec a certain pet for PvP or survivability.
Example: I frequently use cunning pets, such as my chimaera or eagle, as dps pets for heroics and raids. However, I also use them for PvP and I find myself wishing I could just stable them and take them back out to respec rather than hiking/porting/flying out to track down a beast trainer as part of my "getting ready for teh pvps!" ritual.
Whether your pets' talents get wiped or not, both outcomes (I didn't know what to call it. x.x) have their pros and cons.

Re: No talent wipe?!
I agree with you Lohuran, I was using it as a quick talent reset. Well, it never worked properly for me, right after the patch only half of my pets reset their talents on being stabled. But for the ones it did, I liked it well enough. I was testing out different talents and such.
I like them not resetting too though, it's really nice to have them specced right as I summon them after pulling them into active.

*nods* I was doing that too, at least on the PTR, but I think in the long run, it'll be okay on live. Pretty soon, we'll be using the old home cities all the time again, which means we can VERY quickly and easily jump over to a pet trainer for a free respec whenever we want. So the not-resetting path seems to be the biggest advantage to me.

Re: No talent wipe?!
It's been my experiencing so far on Live that you don't loose your talents of your pets when yous table them. I've stabled nearly all my raiding pets every single time and when I've pulled them out, they still have all their talents and abilities. Which is odd. considering Bliz said that they probably couldn't hold that much info, and from what I've heard and seen, they're doing just that and more.
