2 of 3 in Basin, looking for tips on Krush *UPDATED*

Hello, new here *waves*

The last few weeks I have decided I must have King Krush. I've started hanging around the basin, mostly camping his spawn point south of the Glimmering Pillar. I usually make laps around to his other pat areas, but so far I have found nothing, not even a body. I'm curious as to whether or not there is a more "viable" spot to sit and wait....or should I just keep making laps around the basin? I chose that spot cause it's the area with the least amount of traffic on my realm. I found Loque'nahak last night to the north by the goretalon matriarch and Aotona last week east of the Suntouched Pillar, Krush is the last one I need from the area. For those that have tamed him, did you pick a spot and sit, or did you just keep flying around and randomly find him? Also, I know it's different for each realm, but what time of day did you find him?

I woudlnt say he has a specific spot. I have seen him twice were the gorrillas were, twice at the glimmering pillar and around 3 times at shangos spot. So I dont think he has a favourite spot, though I have never seen him at the bone spot for some reason. I think your best bet is to look for him when not so many people are on. If you can do early mornings it would work out to your advantage. Also having more eyes out there would help, maybe some friends or guildies can help you look for him? Also offering a little reward for if someone finds him and lets you tame him helps alot, also making friends with other hunters in the area helps. Basically the more eyes you have out there the better. King krush can spawn and be killed, and skinned in a matter of minutes. Good luck on your hunt!

I would say circle when you're at your computer, he paths so i think its the best way.

If you are going to have him camped, i would pick a spot in the middle of a path to get, I think the least traffic would be the one just south of the Northern Pillar (the other paths are on the border mining paths)

When I got Krush, he spawned at the bones south of the Nesingwary camp.

You best bet is to camp a spot where he spawns. If you are in the middle of his patrol, you risk him being killed before he gets to you.

I was camping Krush, got bored, flew to the north of his patrol route, and by the time I flew back south (with 310 flight) he had already spawned and been killed. I felt sick, if I had just stayed there... >.<

I've found Krush twice now; once down by the bones south of Nessingwary, and once all the way up his patrol near Shango and Loque's Northwest spawn point. Both times, I wasn't looking for him at all, and he scared the snot out of me. First time was dumb luck, the second time I was looking for Loque and making loops of the Basin every ten minutes.

I've been told that the rares don't share a spawn timer, and I witnessed Aotona and Loque on at the same time last night. Is it possible for Krush to be in that bunch too? (I've managed to find him once, but it was before the patch and he was absolutely impossible to tame at that point Anyone who managed to get him before 4.0, cheers and bows!)

I found Krush up in the North and according to Wowhead, he seems to spawn there a lot.

I've found him by the wasps too.

I saw him twice at the wasp place. He's spawned within 15 minutes of Loque before, but I've noticed two tend to spawn closely and a third lag a bit.

One big help is to make friends with other hunters and if worse comes to worse, achievement hunters, you have loque so make friends with someone who is camping a loque spot that shares with KK's spot. It does work, after all the people who I helped catch Loque and Aotona, (and one achievement hunter for aotona w/no hunters that needed/wanted) Karma was great when the night I got KK, I had all of them help by camping all but one KK spot.

I can say that at least on my server KK had a habit of spawning at the western spawn point with the two trees by the wasps and gorilla areas. Although my successful tame was actually right by Nesingwary's at the oracles where he literally spawned under me.

I can't agree with this more. As many idiots as you'll go through trying to find some help, you'll find some real gems. And it's how I've tamed every NR rare other than Aotona and Gondria. I found both of them by chance. And I didn't spam the zone for Arcturis, but I told other hunters that came by how long I had been there. Most of them kindly left me to camping (Minus Mr. NE Hunter). So get the word out. If you can afford it, offer money. I go with 1000 gold. If you think about it as a farmer in the Basin, you can farm and make all that money plus get an extra 1000 gold while you're at it! It's a win/win for us all.

What we found out at Trollbane spawn is about 6-8 hour apart and King Krush does have a pattern on how he spawns. He goes clockwise. Find where he was either killed or tamed last then go to the next spawn location. Great spot to camp between the Oracle's village and the Twilight camp less traffic not that many node spawns and only one herb spawn. Less idiots to mess up your tame. We found him there on peak hours talking the mammoths.

OMG *flails around* So after finding Krush at 7:33pm on Thursday night (and being a minute or two too late cause another hunter had just tamed him) I finally found Krush again at 11:53pm I was run out of my usual camping spot by the Glimmering Pillar by two other hunters, so the past day or so I had been sitting at one of his south spawn points by the wasps. I had been sitting there about an hour when I decided to do my usual round of the basin. Flying north near Shango's pat spot just south of the waterfall, NPC Scan goes bonkers. It's Krush! I start shaking, I'm like omg he's probably dead but he came into view just walking north. I land, hit him with an arcane shot and wait for the fear. I see someone come flying in behind Krush, it was an Orc DK...and he started attacking him!, but was fortunately also run off by the fear. I pop my PVP trinket, hit tame beast, watch the bar ticking down...longest seven seconds of my life. I also had Shango attacking me too cause he pulled with Krush. Bam he's tamed! I think the DK finally realized I was taming him cause he stopped attacking him after the fear and was just standing there watching. I'm still shaking right now lol Of course now I totally realized I forgot to use my haste potion and my Hyperspeed Accelerators >.<

Best suggestion I can offer, have a gathering profession like mining or herbalism, and gather stuff while checking Krush's patrol areas. I use NPCscan and NPCscan overlay, those 2 together have been indispensable for me while hunting rares. NPCscan overlay shows the spawn/patrol areas of all rare spawns in a zone for Outland and Northrend, on your map and minimap.

Finally got my Krush a couple days ago, just south of the Bones of Nozronn, after nearly 2 years of off-and-on searching. Before that, only saw his corpse once, at the gorillas near the wasp hive, which is the same spot I tamed Loque at, also while mining.
