Since the Oil-stained wolf is the only one left of that group... what would happen if they took THAT model, made it into a spirit beast, and then made it easily tameable by any hunter that could tame it?
I wouldn't mind having the Oil-stained wolf turn into a spirit beast, because I don't care if it is a wolf or a spirit beast... I like the skin.
I feel the same way about Karoma... I don't care if it is a wolf or a spirit beast... I just want the skin. I have 24 other pet slots to work with if Blizzard makes it one or the other.
As a personal (and very proud) owner of the Hydra-dile, I would be extremely pleased if they made the exact same skin available again- be it as a new family, a Spirit Beast, or as it originally was (a different crocodile skin). I would not feel any less affection for my Bubbles, and I would LOVE to see more people with their own!
This very case has happened to me already; I tamed Gezz back when she was tameable, and I've had her for a long time. Now that she's becoming re-tamable, I don't have any bad feelings toward hunters who will tame her soon; I'm just so very happy that more skins are now available! I've seen Veph so tickled over getting Gezz soon, and that just made my day when I read of her joy of getting this gorgeous stalker. I don't feel superior to her, or other hunters who will get Gezz soon; nor will my own Squishy be any less valuable to me. Gezz is still a hard tame, and I put a lot of effort into her; other hunters having the same pet soon will not detract from my personal experience!
