I don't really feel like this is so much the "Post-Modern" era as much as its the "Pre-Zombie-Apocalpse" era. I consider myself more of a forward thinking guy and an era that just won't die is just as feasible as a coming era, where the dead come back.

I KNOW! I told someone at work and they gave me a funny look and then laughed. I told them I wasn't joking and they just kind of went '...oh...' Someone else had to show a woman that had no idea who Ozzy was a picture of him and they said he was creepy and that his music was 'odd.' I just shook my head.
My stepdad and I are counting down the days, it's funny. One of us will random go 'Xamountof weeks and xamountof days' and we know exactly what the other is talking about.

People who consistantly misspell easy words and use ridiculous grammar. I can excuse foreigners, but Brits, and to a lesser extent the Yanks (they can't spell either though) who just can't write properly really grate on me. Every time I see words with extra i's and y's and s's, I just throw a fit.

Addon emotes.

I know a lot of people use them, and I'm glad they bring you enjoyment, but ONE part of it IRKS the hell out of me.

THE APOSTROPHE AND GRAMMAR!!!

It always says something like
"Rikaku 's Spirit Beast Heero eats the food happily."

You have NO idea how bad I want to correct that sentence XD *twitch*

This goes for the mounting emotes too.

What's wrong with that sentence?

Would you prefer "...happily eats the food"?
ah wait, was it the space before the apostrophe?

tsk tsk tsk...
for a grammar freak, you made a nasty boo boo there.

it should read: "you have No idea how BADLY I want to correct that sentence".

"bad" is an adjective: "bad dog, no cookie".
"badly" is the adverbial form: "the dog badly needs to go out".

.....when you are basically told that you're not qualified for a position you had essentially been doing for 2+ years, and then when your coworker gets promoted to it, you're expected to train them. Not to mention that the action plan for improvements that you discussed in the interview is being almost exactly implemented with the new supervisor....

Seriously?

WTB new job pls!

In my department, it seems that way....I hate department politics and all that crap...

I want to either get into one specific area of my field, or out of it entirely....both are kind of difficult to do, especially with all the competition out there at the moment....argh.

I don't like it how alot of games nowadays don't have demos! or they are really shit. I got the Resident evil 5 PC demo and it was just the PC playing it so that you would know that it would work on your pc! WTF is that bull man how is that going to make me deside if i want to buy the game? besides knowing it would work on my pc

Games nowadays focus a lot more on graphics. Sure, sure, better graphics is great, there's nothing to make a great game greater than giving it good graphics. Sadly, some developers seem to forget that the actual GAME has to be fun too. I'd say the RE5 demo focused on letting you see how the game LOOKED, instead of it's (most likely) sub-par gameplay.

When a customer calls in a to-go order and wants something we dont have on the menu and never did.
Then said customer argues with you for a good 10 minutes, saying they had it here last week when with the 4 years I've worked there, we've NEVER had that food item.
After the argument, the customer realizes they called the wrong place and hang up. No apology or nothing.

Though it makes it amusing because when you call my work, it's an automated phone system and you will hear atleast 3 TIMES the name of the department you're going do. So it said NEMOS a good three times, plus when we answer, we say 'Thank you for calling Nemos!' as our intro.

i swear we get some real golden ones at my work.......a gold as the 16 yr old girl that asked me how to use the ketchup dispenser.

Girl: Where's your ketchup?
Me: *points to the two big red jugs of ketchup* Right there, miss.
Girl: *stares at it then looks back* What am I supposed to do with these?
Me: ..... *walks away and proceeds to bang head on wall.*

Those stupid female characters that try to be both Tough and Seductive. Really? I mean, I can understand..
-Tough and flirtatious
-Tough and fairly pretty, considering muscle mass, battle scars and overall messiness
-Tough, fairly pretty and flirtatious
and
-Tough, beautiful, seductive and dead from the first fight while wearing only minimal armor to continue looking glamorous even in battle.
I'm sorry, but if you want to look absolutely perfect and seductive, the battlefield isn't for you. You want to know what happens if you venture into a fight wearing only a mini-skirt and a revealing top? You get slaughtered. And don't even give me that "I'm independent!" thing. If you're independent and have a brain, then you aren't wearing a mini-skirt in a fight. What the character is really doing is trying to get attention by looking "cool".
Oh, and the stupid "trying to be witty" comments to enemies? Yeah, cut it out. You can't do it.
What's even worse is that so many people think that these characters are cool! They're even worse than the helpless princesses, they're not cool. I gag whenever I see some anime girl holding a broadsword over one shoulder with a paper-thin arm, smirking all-knowingly, wearing a tight bikini-imitation, and without a single bruise or scar.

Grarr!

Watching Food Network run shows for Thanksgiving Leftovers. It's like having Christmas stuff up before Halloween. D:

Also, Novocaine. I could tolerate the huuuuge needle. It's bad, but tolerable. I can tolerate the numbing easily. But oh FEL the taste. It's HORRIBLE. My tastebuds are still screwed up and I keep tasting subtle underlying of Novocaine when I bravely try to eat things. *shudders.*
