Potential list of new rare beasts?

I seriously hope most of the rares, if tamable, are not going to be part of the cata frostbitten acheevo. Althou then people would be killing them just to grief/"phat" lewt.
(edit: just read about the "tear" gray item from rares just now. Hoping most people will be happy to point out the beast for hunters for 50 or a 100 instead of looting 25 )

Oh wow. I thought you'd photoshopped that. I didn't realize it was a drawing from a scientific report. That's pretty cool, and makes sense since birds are really just specialized dinosaurs

im interested in seeing if the new worms are maybe why there are several new jormungar colors in the model veiwer
i doubt blizz would recolor such a detailed model and not use it!

I think those Jormungar skins have been there a long, long time. But when it came to putting them in the game, the devs just copied over the same worm file again and again and so kept the same skin.

There are a few "adult" (half in the ground) worms that use different colours. Jormuttar ("Jormuttar is so fat!") uses the blue-coloured skin (JormungarPale) and Acidmaw in TotC uses the washed-out JormungarGreen. From memory, the worm phase of the latter didn't use the green skin, though, but maybe they fixed that.

Anyway, I really hope we see more before the expansion. There are so many separate worm colonies up there it would be easy to split them up by colour.

It seems like any under Undefined are the new families (monkeys, dogs, shale spiders, etc.) Just for note. Unless that was obvious. Which, I then retract my obvious statement.

I approve of seeing a Cat called Skarr (or something along those lines.) Now only if it uses something like the one Tauren Cat model. I am also approving of Tyranitar. It might make way for more Krush style skins, even if it would be on another rare. Gotta catch 'em all. Good to see that most of the old rares are still there. However, I didn't see Shadowclaw, which is a disappointment for those of us hoping to have him still stealth up on us in our treks through Darkshore. I may have to tame him on my lowbie NE now for old times sake. <3

Shadowclaw was just recently confirmed to still exist (along with the Clutchmother!)
