Of cold weather and kitty naps

Ahhh... Cool weather is here, and while I do not like the cold, there is one thing I love about this time of year as a cat owner: more frequent cat napping! Now, I know kitties sleep a lot anyways, but when it becomes cool weather, do you notice your kitty sleeping more frequently on that soft blanket or crawling into your lap more often?

Today has been a rather cold day (one of the first all-day cool days of the season), and I've watched my lovely orange Maine Coon cat sleep in my chair all day long! He's been up to eat, drink, and do his business a few times, but he comes right back to my (his?) armchair. It's just so adorable to walk by and constantly pet him since he's not in and out all day.

I love kitties, and for this reason I love cooler weather! <3

I have a great big fuzzy robe that my ragdoll, Sulu, claims as his own. I don't think I've seen him leave that thing alone all day. He just sleeps, and purrs, and buries himself in the fuzziness of it all. It's too cute.
