Checked Wowhead. Seems to be level 57 and allegedly tameable. Shouldn't take much for a beta tester to verify!

That makes a good deal of sense. The other two mobs needed to be killed in the same quest are also demons.

Funny, this very patch I left a suggestion for him to be made a tameable beast. Maybe they can't if he needs to be a demon.
