Last-minute hopes and future patches?

What OTHER animals would you like to see added to the beast-tameable list? I can still think of a few pets I would love to see at launch that blizzard kept hidden all this time. Certain beasts would just seem to fit certain zones. Many people already wish for the armadillo and gyre worms in-game, but I have a couple myself not yet seen in this expansion that would be great to add either at 4.0.3 or at 4.1:

ROUS? - Come on, there are swamps everywhere and everyone whose seen a Giant Sewer Rat would love to sick that bad boy on someone in pvp!

Frogs/Toads - Totally fits. Water to land, possibly rocky appearances, you know.

Thick-bodied Snakes - Not the garish cobras of today but something like the models in Zul'Drak instances, maybe a little more substantial.

Magma Worms - for the worm family, obviously...

Wyrms - for the warpstalkers (another loophole at dragons)


What do you want to see still?

Fernstalkers, Basilisks of all kinds, the other non devilsaur and raptor dinos in Un'Goro.

Hee, going to keep cheering for them, but HYDRAS for sure. I think one more Exotic pet would be lovely to add to the current beast lineup. There's such a huge clamor for these guys, and they were one of the most repeated beasts in the Pet Suggestion thread from the official forums. They have a beautiful colour variety and I've just become more and more obsessed with owning one. ^^ *crosses fingers*

While I agree that the regular snake model should be added to the serpent family (well, WHY NOT?), the only unadded family thus far that I personally would like to see is hydras. At this point, it'll be far FAR too late an addition to be able to tame Gahz'ranka, but that doesn't stop me from still wanting to.

(Honestly, I think this is why I still have a loose stable slot on Kalliope....just in case....)

There are a few kinds of beasties that I would enjoy seeing made tamable, but the only one that really matters to me is hydras. I love ghostly pets, and was pretty upset when I missed the ghost hydra, but any hydra will do at this point, really.

Not sure if this has been linked before, or if there are others like it, but perhaps a revival may help draw more attention to the Adopt-A-Hydra cause!

That reminds me of an idea I've had for... well, a few years now.

We as hunters should be able to tame our own mounts. I know we all have lists of beasties we'd like to see ridable, not just tamable. Just imagine. Devilsaurs, stegodons, cows, zhevras (yeah, I know there already was one, but since we're fantasizing...), crocolisks, the -other- kind of wolf (like Snarler, not the big barrel-chested worgs we have now), stags (not just reindeer), chimaeras, crabs, spiders, tallstriders (tallstriders > hawkstriders), boars, rhinos, warp stalkers, you name it...!

It is not a totally awesome movie... it is THE totally awesome movie... Unlike other cool movies, such as I am Legend, Transformers, and Iron man, I never get tired of watching this movie, which I can say about few movies, well, actually one other movie, Remember the Titans.
