It wasn't actually posted here, so WELCOME TO NESINGWARY, GALADRAEL!Galadrael wrote:So!
I have officially become burnt out on raiding. What happens with my guild this lockout greatly determines what i am going to do with my main Paladin.
Be prepared to have a insanely-well geared Pally happen to pop up on Nesingwary asking for a gvite.

I think you're better geared than the rest of the server, tbqh. xD

Uhm. I don't know any guild that promote people "just cuz they like having a high rank". If you put effort into supporting the guild and your guildies, play well, help out when needed, and generally get along with people, then it'll probably pay off. Otherwise, asking like that = wasting your time.Demonicow wrote:...im posting here because i have an alt in the petopians guild and want to be promoted just cuz i like having a high rank.

There are several ranks in the guild:Demonicow wrote:want to be promoted just cuz i like having a high rank.
Who P Dawg?
Follower.
Chosen.
Priest.
High Priest.
Who P Dawg? is a rank used for those who join while I'm not online. It helps me easily find who's new.
Follower is any member that hasn't been on too long and/or doesn't have a forum account with the Petopia forum.
Chosen is any member with a Petopia forum account, or anyone I know well enough to promote that far.
Priest is for my alts, so I may control the guild from any toon (mostly). I have one person who will also be promoted to Priest to help me manage the guild, after she graciously accepted the position.
High Priest is Guild Leader.

Re: Petopia Forum Guild - US
First off, I decided to eschew the boars and turtles I've used for tenacity and give a scorpid a try. Having decided on the ever-seasonal black pattern, I set out for Orc babyland to tame the most infamous of such scorpids, the dread Sarkoth, Slayer of Noobs. After a long and arduous battle the great beast was mine, now named simply Thorn.
I am in love, by the way. His adorable chittering noises, the way he clatters along at my side, the gusto with which he poisons our foes... No more turtles for me!
But every hunter also needs a ferocity pet in the era if LFG levelling, and so I set forth on my epic trek for the one pet truly suited to the sheer manliness of a proper blood elf hunter -- a moth. I decided on the lovely blue moths of Bloodmyst Isle as my prey, and began the journey. A lowly level 11, I ghost ran to Auberdine, then died my way along the docks to catch my boat. Fortunately, the two 80s also on the ship were feeling merciful, and with a handful more deaths across the islands, I had my target in my sights. This tame was rough, and I actually died as I completed it, but no matter, I now had my gorgeous fluttering bringer of death.
Like with the scorpid, this was my first time with a moth pet, and I was a little apprehensive as I haven't cared for flying pets in the past ( they are always on things I want to click! ) but I simply adore this cutie. We've run a few RFCs together already and I can already tell he will be a favorite. Oh, and I named him Ghost, appropriate as that's what I spent most of my hunt for him as.
This idea of taming the enemy's pets was enjoyable, so I also ( after rolling a DK, Nathelle, to finance a couple more stable slots ) ghost ran to human babyland and snagged a diseased wolf, Skriker. I'm not sure if I will keep him, as he goes against my pact to only try new pets, but we shall see. All in all, this has been a great start to a hunter career.

Oh and I rolled a Draenei, Naelani, for the alliance side, but I have yet to catch anyone on yet for an invite and haven't made it to 10 yet ( space goat babyland is so meh ).

You should look into getting an Authenticator if this is the second time it's happened, they're a great sense of security.

Waiting for the boat to Azuremyst Isle.

The tame.

Success!

A diseased wolf I may or may not keep.

And Nathael and Ghost's very first boss kill!
Sorry for the low quality of screen caps, I'm running WoW on an ancient mac laptop, so I have to have the settings at "Dinosaur" to function.

Disturbing. Kinda like saying a raptor grew into a devilsaur... or a hyena...Kalliope wrote:Orpheus was a blue crab up until recently. And he was born as a scorpid
Welcome, first of all. Second, several members join the guild first and then the forum.ordine_confusus wrote:Well, I also did this backwards...rolled a toon on Nesingwary (Kielell...and his trusty corpse sidekick), and THEN joined here. I blame Sochi...it's all her fault.

Orpheus is my only pet who seems to have mastered the art of complete and total transformation. He didn't grow from one into the next; he completely changed his form.

He's the son of a Muse; he can do that. *nod*
