Rise of the Shadows!

Julius blinked, looking very confused. "Ghost, why are you... so... short...?" He blinked again and looked around, startled at the strange but somehow familiar voice. "Wh-" He clapped a paw to his throat. "Eh? What?" Was that him? Why did his voice sound so much deeper? He coughed hard, as if trying to clear his throat before looking down at his paw. Larger and now cream coloured instead of small and orange.

[Senna-Umbreon]

Ghost grinned up at Julius, "I'm not short. You're just tall!" She snickered, "You evolved, you dummy!"

[Kamalia]

"Oh." Julius turned around, looking himself over. "Oh. Whoah. Whoah! I... I - I... WHOOOOOO!" He pumped a fist in the air and jumped before wincing and grabbing his side, but his old grin was still on his face. He beamed at Ghost. "I would be giving you a big hug if it wouldn't damage us both."

[Senna-Umbreon]

Ghost laughed, wincing slightly, "Hehe, I was wondering when you'd finally evolve.. It's gonna be weird looking UP at you now. I'm so used to you being tiny."

Rust squeaked, wobbling over to Ghost and Julius. He looked up at Julius, "Meep!"

[Kamalia]

"I was wondering the same thing." Julius grinned and rubbed the back of his neck, looking down at his paws. "Sheesh, I'm so big now. It's going to take me a while to adjust to this." He paused and looked at Rust. He extended a paw and rubbed the Cranivee's head. "Hey buddy! Are you feeling okay?"

[Moonlost]

((Nooo, Seventeen! *Hugs the insane Manectric.* Don't dieee!))

((Now that just makes me giggle."You can't kill Ghost, she's awesome!", "Don't you dare kill Chomp again! We need him!", "Not Seventeen, who else is going to go all insane, evil and lightning-y?" XD ))

Venin cursed. Thankfully the Dawn weren't making any moves. Whether it was because Seventeen looked like some demon dragged up from hell or because they had their own issues to worry about she couldn't say. None-the-less, she felt grateful to them. It was... a strange feeling. Almost familiar in some way. She shook her head, now was not the time for such thoughts. The sunrise would not be so merciful. But how to get Seventeen away from here... Venin grinned and turned to Gamin.

"I've got a crazy idea. If I fall, grab my tail and drag me out of here." She told the Mightyena as she solidified once more. Gamin nodded, confused. Venin turned to her leader, opened her mouth and let loose a burst of water.

Venin used Water Gun!


There were dark blots moving. Seventeen could see them. But she couldn't focus! She snarled, firing a bolt of lightning out at random, hoping to startle the blobs into movement.
Something slammed into her side. It felt like a water attack. The fool! She swiveled her head and fired another lightning bolt at the black spot she thought it came from. It moved away, dancing around it, mocking her. She roared and charged after it, electicity crackling about her bloodied form.


Venin lead her leader away, running as fast as she could. Seventeen probably wouldn't kill her... but she didn't want to take that risk. Gamin kept pace beside her, ready to drag her along should there be a need. She just hoped that Seventeen fainted or regained her senses before she caught up.

Rust squeaked happily, then seemed to notice.. Hey.. Julius had.. TWO TAILS! Double the pouncing fun! He let out a squeaky giggle and ran around behind the Floatzel to bat at his tails.

Ghost snickered, "Well.. He's back to his usual wanting to play with peoples' tails, so.. I'd say he's better..." She sighed, "Dammit.. I should've made sure I knew where he was.. I should've been keeping an eye on him.. If I had.. Maybe this wouldn't have happened.."

((Silly Rust... Buizels have two tails as well!))

Julius looked behind him, amused by Rust's antics. He returned his gaze to Ghost, a frown on his face. "Hey, he's okay. There's nothing to worry about for now." He shrugged and gave her a smile. "Besides, none of us saw this coming. I sure didn't!" He chuckled, then faltered for a moment. "Speaking of which..." He rubbed his left eye, still cloudy white and sightless. "I had hoped evolution would've fixed this..."

[Senna-Umbreon]

((XD True. But not as.. Two-taily as Floatzel. Buizel tails are more like.. One split into two, while Floatzel tails are two seperate tails. Or at least that's how it looks to me XD))

Rust squeaked as he pounced on one of Julius's tails.

Ghost sighed again, "I know.. but still.. I can't help but feel that it's my fault..."

[Kamalia]

((Hm, I guess I can see what you're getting at. *nodnod* Also, I'm logging. Night!))

Julius tilted his head at Rust. He smiled and twitched the other, unpounced on tail. He reached out and nuzzled Ghost to try and comfort her.

[Senna-Umbreon]

Rust squeaked, reaching up with one paw to bat at Julius's other tail, "Meep!"

Ghost smiled, giving Julius a small nuzzle in return.

((Aaand I'm out too. Photoshop calls for me, so I must go draw~!))

[Azunara]

((Back for the day, and who knows how long. It depends how evil my phone decides to be.))

Solara winced, tired. That, and the sudden swarm of Sunrise was reason enough to retreat. With a snarl at Blue, she fled back to the other Dawn, dodging fleeing Dusk and Sunrise that came after. If one of them got to close, she either hurt them enough so they would stop chasing her or scared them off. Once back with the others, she blinked up at Julius. She would've commented when she realized that she had people to heal.

She quickly healed Zerak so he wasn't dying, then looked at the kids. Julius looked fine. Cro looked...betterish. He wasn't covered in as many burns, and any ice patches had melted, so there was a small pool of water around him. He was sleeping now, which would help. He did occasionally squirm and growl, but beyond that was rather still.

With that, she laid down next to Soundwave, head on her paws, debating if now was a good time to sleep or wait till they were back at the cave. The bush was rather safe, at least. And the Dusk were fleeing. "The Sunrise pretty much swept the rest of the Dusk and scared 'em away. Only time I think I'll be grateful for them."

[Senna-Umbreon]

((*Notices that Ghost and Sol haven't interacted in like.. Forever* *Pushes Ghost towards Sol* GO TALK. OR SOMETHING.))

Ghost tilted her head as Solara came back. Good, she wasn't dead. Leaving Rust and Julius to their game of 'Pounce on the Tail', Ghost trotted over and sat down beside Solara, "Hi."

[Azunara]

((Hehehe. *expects to be mauled by an angry Sol. Or Ghost. Or both. O_o))

Solara blinked, looking up. "Hi!" She replied back. "How are you?"

[Senna-Umbreon]

((I'll probably join you in getting mauled by them both. For.. Some reason. Dunno what reason that'd be. .. The two of them just like to maul us for some reason. DARN YOU GHOST AND SOL! DARN YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!! *Gets mauled by them* D:))

Ghost smiled down at Solara, "Oh pretty good, besides the fact that I currently have a giant wound in my neck and stuff!" She laughed, swishing her tail back and forth.

[Magnakilro]

Chomp nodded at Kyuu, "Let's go!"

He held the bag with Hands in it closed, "Hey Kyuu....mind knocking her out?" he reluctantly asked as he pointed at the bag, "Don't need her breaking out and attacking!"

Demonica teleported to where the Dawn were hiding, panting heavily, bleeding and tired.

[Azunara]

Solara nodded, "This should help a bit."

Solara used Wish on Ghost.

"I'm just glad no one died this time. And Julius evolved, and everyone is rather okay. I'm exhausted though."

[Senna-Umbreon]

"Thanks." Ghost smiled, then nodded, "I know how you feel... I'm absolutely pooped... OOF!!" She let out a little yelp as Rust suddenly leapt at her, squeaking loudly and happily, "MEEP!"

[Azunara]

Sol grinned a bit at Rust. "With Rust around, don't expect to sleep easily again."

[Senna-Umbreon]

"Pfft! I hardly get any sleep as it is these days! I'll barely even notice the difference!" Ghost laughed.

Rust squeaked at Solara, then leapt at her, "MEEP!"

Ghost snickered, "He sure seems to love to jump on things. Whether it be tails or actual Pokemon!"
