New PvP pet
Well I'm currently looking for a PvP pet as I have been doing alot while just mining and when taking a break from heroics and such, and would like a good pet. I'm currently not really wanting a exotic PvP pet if needed and I really like using rare uncommon type pets, kinda like showing off what I have. So any help?

Re: New PvP pet
Hyenas are great for PVP and just running around, plus most folks don't have them.

Spiders are great and some of the skins like these are rarely seen.

Ravagers look awesome and intimidating.

Nether Rays are very rare and have some nice versatility.

Many thanks to Vephriel for the amazing sig!

I also never see anyone using the Lava Tarantula skin for spiders, and I always thought it was a rather cool model.

Re: New PvP pet
That was more help then I thought I'd be getting, and I'm really thinking about getting the
Netherskate.
But rare things like that is what I'm interested in just like two of the pets I have now.

Re: New PvP pet
I'm in the "What Pet to Use for PvP" boat as well.
Make no mistake, I'm awful at PvP. But the BGs, win or lose, can be pretty fun. Ultimately, I'm wanting to add Gondria to the stable, as an alternate for PvP. I've considered Spiders (sorry, not posting pics, I'm lame!!) but they really give me the heebie-jeebies, so I don't know if I can do that.
I'm probably going to go Hyena. First, it's amusing to think of my PvP pet laughing at the other side. Second, the hamstring-ish ability would probably be useful for crowd control. But I did glance at the Nethers, mostly due to the large number of Casters that could be irritated in PvP. Anyone make use of those? Do they get annoying, flying around?

Re: New PvP pet
For PvP, I'd say either a crab, spider, or hyena.
Crab has pin,. and pin + charge = Long immobility, gving you an adventage for escapes or more distance to take out your foe.
Spider doesn't have the charge, but the web can be used at range, which could be very helpful in some situations.
Hyena has that nice tendon rip, so then the foe is slowed. also, since hyena is ferocity, as the foe is chasing you at slow pace, the hyena just eats them up.
Those are just my three ideas... they work great for me.

Re: New PvP pet
indeed spiders do make great pets because of their web but oddly enough some arachnaphobes fear the more realistic looking spiders which could make them fear you in PvP combat!

Agreed, I've always liked that spider, and I never ever see it.I also never see anyone using the Lava Tarantula skin for spiders, and I always thought it was a rather cool model.

What, no love for chimeras? D: Huge screen-blocking (your enemy's, that is) wings and nearly constant slow for the major win. Plus Nuramoc is a purple people eater!

Re: New PvP pet
Well, I've never used a Chimera because I just recently got dual spec with BM as one of them... I still need to tame an exotic, and I'm thinking of the ghost worm...
But as for the Lava spider, I dropped my carrion bird and went to tame him. took 5 minutes (if that) to get him a level and a half! Can't wait til he's 80

The one not mentioned that I like having is the Ravager. Watching them knock down your opponent, breaking casting and slowing them works well.
