I know I recently posted about a PvP pet and thanks for those you helped as i'm loving my new pet I got ^_^. But my new thing after reading some other posts is, I would like my stable to be filled with pets that not only I like, but that each are there for a role and not just to look good.
Currently I have these:
PvP:
Raid/Instance:
Other: (Ghost Saber)
Now as you see, I would like one for Tanking as well, and would kinda like something for raiding or instances besides a wolf, or have a wolf for raiding only and something else for instances. I currently have a raiding spec (surv/marks) for instances raiding and BM for fun. But just asking, when listing the pets please give reason to them, on what to drop and pick up. Thanks ahead ^^
I would say drop the devilsaur and go for a turtle or bear for tanking. I say drop the devilsaur because the ghost saber and spirit beast are more unique and special, whereas the devilsaur isn't quite as catchy (in my opinion). And for tanks, the turtle has good damage mitigation (shell shield + cower + last stand = longevity), while the bear has more of an AoE TPS style with swipe + thunderstomp. Keep the wolf for raiding (since you're doing that already anyway), and use your spirit beast for fun/instances. That's my two cents, don't spend it all in one place!

On my server ghost sabers come in and out of popularity quickly, yet Devilsaurs are just about as commonly uncommon as them. I've not yet seen another Arc since I've tamed mine so..
You could drop the saber if you are only going to keep the wolf, as the top non BM pets for raiding would be what, Wolf, Cat, Wasp, Moth, Raptor. Depending on situations and debuffs/buffs/ etc etc etc.
You could then pick up a turtle for damage control. A bear for the standard TS/Swipe combo. Overlooked pets are Scorpids and Warpstalkers, while warpies don't do alot of damage AoE wise, without ToS [well next to none] and scorpids got a tad nerfed, I've not really seen that many. But they are good for soloing mobs, what with Warpstalkers Warp or the Scorpid's dot I guess. And they're both low to the ground so shouldn't get in the way.
If you dislike using your Devilsaur more than your cat, you could replace it with a tank pet I suggested above, or if you replace the saber but would still like something for instances, why not a raptor or a wasp- to go along with Arc.
Tho be careful as that one species of wasp still tameable and using the boss skin remains huge.
But Aurelius is tremendously fun on Ryai when I use her; I've scared off PVP Alliance when I've used TBW and sent her after them, and a big ass giant wasp in Naxx is both annoying and lolz worthy.

Actually, I think that was fixed. I tamed one a little while ago and it was pretty small. People who tamed the Hive Queen a while ago get to keep the HUGE wasp, though. (Lucky them, it must rule in Arena. Opponent- "AAH, I CAN'T TARGET ANYTHING BUT THIS MONSTER!")
Anyway. Back to the topic.
I would say drop either the cat or the Devilsaur, as they are both ferocity and are not as aesthetically pleasing as Arcturis. I learned yesterday that worms are great, so I would say grab one of those, or a turtle. (Turtles just aren't as big and cute as Jormungers.)

It actually depends on which one you tame; before reading this post I went to tame a wasp to see if I wanted [really wanted] one of the two skins in the Basin as I really don't like how small the Outlands wasp skins shrink down to. The Sithilid model scales down to a nice size- if .. low to the ground. The Boss Skin, which the Hive Queen also uses, remained unaffected. Meaning the drones shrink but the other wasps, purple-blue-black deal, do not.
