Solara stretched, sitting up and taking a place on guard at the cave entrance. She might as well, she had nothing better to do. She was too restless, and with the Voices in her head buzzing, sleep was out of the question. She sighed.

Cro looked at his claws, thinking hard on communicating. After a few minutes struggle, he managed a slight whisper of a thought, Is it working?

The voices began to shriek in Arachne's head

Arachne moved one leg from Electro and held her own head with it, seemingly in pain.

Cro nodded in satisfaction, glad that he could at least try to do it. Better than nothing. And next time, if something was wrong, he'd be able to communicate, just like his siblings could.
