The wolf image should probably be changed; the Blighthound is a dog in Cata, if I remember right.

Edit: Froststorm Breath input...it's usuable, but it's glitchy (for me, at least - my chimera stops channeling to use attacks), it's a cone, and it's not autocastable. Very klunky.

Ah, is that what was happening? I was wondering about that on live. I kept trying to get my chimera to use it and... well... it wouldn't. I wasn't sure if the channel was being interrupted by attacks (unlike the worm's channel which goes to full) or if it was just only hitting one target. Hopefully they fix that.

I don't mind, my own self, that the AOE isn't autocastable. I'd probably use it manually anyhow. Gathering a bunch of enemies, making sure I had some damage on them so they'd not die without me being able to loot, and then AOE'ing the heck out of them.

Thanks for the input guys. I'll advise people to use chimeraes at their own risk then.

Hmm, the cone may be better for dungeons and raids. The fact that it isn't an auto cast is helpful for attack management and keeps newb hunters from leaving it on.


The worm's ability is incredibly useful. When Chrizesu is in her bm spec I have her with Scotch the worm. This morning I'm going to go try and get the purple chimerea. If he isn't up I'll just take one from Blade's Edge for testing.

Actually it is, but since we have such a large amount of resourceful threads that could use stickies, we've gathered them up in Resource Posts that are stickied at the top of each forum for easy access. This thread is included in that post. Otherwise the top of each sub-forum becomes too cluttered with sticky threads.

This is a problem on Wowhead's side. Their pet talent calculator has run into issues recently.

It is possible to alter the specs of you pets via battle.net. However, there is no option to make a custom link to a talent build that you make in this manner. I'm hoping that we get a pet talent calculator once the new Armory is up and running on battle.net, since I don't know when Wowhead will be able to fix their pet talent calculator.

So, in the meantime, I'm afraid there's little that Chrizesu can do
