finding skoll

im having trouble finding him. im at the storm peaks. any advice?

Do you have NPCscan and the overlay addon too? Those should help. I'd also ask peeps in general chat. I've not yet caught him but I think I'm done on rares for a bit.

Pick a spot. I'm told (dont have him yet so consider the source, I'm just an obsessive camper) that the site above Brunnhildar Village has the highest spawn rate. Sit there and wait... and every now and then fly his known sites just to check. I got Gondria and Loque doing that (sitting still with an occasional spin around the spawn sites, both popped for me during a fly by). Terror Spinner was always "fly by" for me and I never sat and camped him but would fly by his sites off and on during the day and I got him last week. King Krush spawned where I was sitting and waiting.

From the looks of where I am sitting now camping you can position yourself between his spawn sites and possibly catch a spawn in either location at both the Village and Snowdrif Plains sites. NPC Scan Overlay is very very helpful finding the known spawn site locations. I didnt any any luck with general chat when I was sitting in the Basin so if its not any good, dont waste your typing.

Be patient, keep at it and eventually you will find him. If you get tired of sitting, just fly by every so often and see if he pops for you. Grab a book and move your toon every now and then so you dont auto log out

When you do log out, log at the "disk spot" above Brunnhildar Village, so you can possibly have a happy surprise logging in like I did

Actually, the disk spot isnt his highest on all servers. On my server, it's Bor's Breath that people say he spawns most. I've found him three times there.

I actually lucked out when finding Skoll. I was on my Druid flower picking when I saw him. I had seen him once before, in the spot located near the Harpies, but a Priest killed him . Anyways, second time, I was passing by the Cave with the Dwarves near it and he was up. There was a Warlock, who I whispered kindly not to kill him and he agreed. So he stood guard while I quickly switched to my Hunter, flew up to Storm Peaks and nabbed the tame. I personally have never seen Skoll at the Disc/Cliff.
