When you look up a mob on WoWhead, check the very end of the URL. The number at the end is the NPC ID.

I do the same with Thottbot ^^ It'll say, for example, http://thottbot.com/c32485 for King Krush--the c I think means creature, the number afterward is his NPC ID.
