Some time ago, I found this chart:


It's been a tremendous help when I was camping Loque'nahak.
I was wondering, wether any of you has similar charts for King Krush and Aotona?
Or has that data somewhere, at all?
I'd love to know where King Krush and Aotona pop most frequently, because right now, I feel I'm running blind, even with NPCScan Overlay, and it's very frustrating.
Please, I've been back in the Basin doing my rounds for a week again and I haven't even seen their corpses, noone wishes to share pop timer, nothing...

I dont think there is one for KK or the parrot. I've found KK spawns a lot on my server up in the north area by the rhinos.

On my server, Aotona seems to be a morning bird. I found her usually between 9am - 11am server.

I found my Aotona at about 10:40PM feathermoon time. The hunter who nabbed her before me had tamed at 4:40PM on the nose. And Mearra grabbed her recently. I found King K at ... 10:44AM just the other day (See also: Novi's electric boogaloo thread) and at about 5:2-something my time the day or two prior.

From my Aotona hunts (and failures) I noticed that on Nesingwary at least she tends to pop in the morning or early afternoon (1-2PM). I had Petopians helping me camp this prettybird for hours at a time at night and we never saw her; however, Kalliope's toon tamed it around the listed time (I signed on about 45 minutes later, I believe), it got ganked away from me at this time, and I finally tamed her in the early afternoon, too. That was all within a week-ish.

From what I've read, others seem to agree that she's usually a morning to early afternoon bird. I think I've only heard of her spawning at night once.

Can't help you with Krush though, dunno much about him.

Maybe you guys would know, which Aotona pop point is the most common, as well?

Aotona's spawn points don't seem to be really set in stone. Case in point, the spawn point I tamed her at, nearly every other Petopian said they'd never seen her at before. A few hours later, another guildie (on a different server) tamed her at the exact same spot I did.

(For the record, that was the lower right spawn point, near the Frenzyhearts).

If you're gonna take a gamble, I'd bet on the upper left area in the little circle of spawn points. There's actually three spawn points there relatively close together; that's the biggest collection of points, I think. Of course you also have to be careful, as it's the most trafficked area too and it'd be very easy for somebody to gank her out from underneath you if you look away for half a second. (This happened to me one time--I got a PM about Aotona spawning on these forums, so I jumped online where a guildie was holding her for me, but somebody else killed her before I could get there). That was right outside the Oracles' main area.

i personally think its a equal chance at any spawn point at any time

even if you roll a die 50 times, one of the numbers 1-6 will likely be higher in rolls through luck, kind of the same with spawn points.
