Am i the only person who was bummed at not getting a beta key but at the same time wasn't because I wanted to leave some elements of surprise and I knew it would end up being all for not anyway since everything i had done would be wiped out anyway.
Anyone else that can relate?

Yes. I've deliberately stayed away from the beta so I can enjoy the story as Blizzard meant to tell it. Of course I've been sneak-peeking a lot via here and MMO-C...

I didn't get a beta key, and I didn't want one. I really like finding things out in the game on my own, as far as lore goes. Trolling the Petopia forums on new Cata pets is my dirty little secret, since I'm not even looking up where to find them, I'm just drooling over all the pretty new models and planning my stables around my favorites. xD

I am the same. For me not getting into the beta is a good thing, it would ruin the awe factor. Although I've been reading up on whats coming, and seen several screenshots of the new world, it's still gonna blow me away the first time I experience it
