Not like before was any help, but now he couldn't hear her, just smell her. And considering the number of other smells that were...death-like, it really wasn't helpful. Great. Now he had to be even more careful. He waited for her to strike, or get close enough. Hopefully, he'd sense her before she could hit him.

((Faron will be fine in the dark - his sense of smell is better than sight. Vallrok... Well, he'll be okay. Trolls aren't that bad. Besides, he doesn't really need to see that well.))

Faron, CotD building

Faron frowned to himself. A familiar smell had drifted into the air for only a moment - ugh, it smelled like lizard roast. It was gone quickly, but it was still alarming.
"Hey, Saturo, I think... Maybe... I smelled dragon for a moment. Any dragons stay around here?"

Saturo - CotD building

"Dragons? Not that I know of... Frostwyrms, maybe."

Random Cultist

The boxes were actually heavier than he had originally thought... And the shaking. It was a wonder they didn't rattle. Suddenly, one of the boxes seemingly jumped down, and crashed with a loud thump. Several scourge crystals rattled out, and a number of undead rats scattered in all directions. "Damnit!", he said, and hurried to pick all the items up.

Faron frowned. Hmm. He sniffed the air again, and caught another whiff of it - definitely alive. "No, this isn't a frostwyrm. I think it's alive.."

Icecrown

Azunara peered over the valley, standing up in the stirrups. The nightsaber growled irritably at the druid, but she hissed at it warningly and it quieted for now. The somber landscape and ghosts meandering around didn't seem like an ideal landscape for anything living, but she knew a few plants grew sparsely here.

"Right," Azunara said, sitting back down, "Let's go look for this plant." She led the way, picking a path down the rocky slopes to reach the areas below.

The drake heard a loud smash from somewhere in the building, and he paused, distracted. Wasn't it supposed to be empty here? He wasn't sure where Decay was, but maybe she crashed to the ground? Or it could just be old cultist furniture and supplies bumping about. It was likely nothing. Likely.

Indigosa--Icecrown

Indi had Khaz hover over the group as she followed Azu down the rocky slope. She had a better vantage point flying and could easily fling herself off Khaz's back to the ground below should they be attacked by anyone.

Deathadder/Chomper- Icecrown

Deathadder and Chomper followed the group down the path, keeping an eye out for any wayward undead that might come to close. Chompers’ mood had changed as well. He looked serious now, all senses focused on possible enemies. Deathadder slung his bow off his shoulder for better accessibility should he need it.

Azunara leaped from her nightsaber, shifting into her feline form and snarled a command at it. Then, she peered at her prize, a small cropping of Icethorn, and immediately began poking it, checking under and over leaves, like she would if she were looking for a Frost Lotus. After a little bit, she sighed, then came away, looking disappointed. "Nothing." She said, flicking her tail at the plant.

Decay - CotD building

*The surprised yells of a male human, the clonking of metal against metal, and the creak of Decay's rope, all at the same time.*

"Kozri! Come!", Decay yelled from the other side of the room, near one of the doors. She was hanging upside down from the hoop, and was pressing her swords against a human's neck. The human looked terrified, and was standing next to two smashed boxes and a bunch of dark crystals. "Somehow, I don't think this is just a looting warlock..."

Saturo - CotD building

"A living dragon? That was stupid enough to come here-", she started, but was interrupted by the yelling cultist. "That way.", she said, and ran towards a nearby door, unsheathing her runesword.

CotD Building

"Azu, there's trouble. We're not alone. Keep leading them, I'll let you know if we need help." Kozri informed the druid, and put on his human disguise. He looked at the Cultist, then at the crystals. Joy.

Azu flinched from where she was, blinking. "Don't get killed."

Indigosa--Icecrown

Indi saw Azu flinch. A frown crossed her features; Kozri could be in trouble. If the druid went along like everything was normal, she would too, but if Azu showed the briefest sign of anguish, despair, worry, anything...Indi would be flying Khaz as fast as she could back to that Cultist building.

Alarial--CotD Building

The sudden commotion startled Alarial. She jumped up from the corner she was sitting in, prepared to heal Decay and Kozri should they come to blows with Cultists.

Kozri's senses were still as sharp, even in this disguise, so he could see more or less. And smell-Fel. Something was coming towards them. "We're going to have company, and soon." He warned Decay, pulling out his daggers.

Azunara
Icecrown

Azunara gulped, "Right. Herbs." She said quietly, worried. She knew the three of them could handle themselves, but still...She had dealt with enough of her allies dying around her. She didn't want Kozri, Decay and Alarial to die either.

Indigosa--Icecrown

Indi was studying Azu's every last behavior. The druid was trying to act normal, but something seemed off. Indi was torn between flying back to the Cult building or staying with the group since she had promised to keep Azu safe. If there was trouble it was likely the training session was finished for now.

Alarial--CotD Building

Alarial took Kozri's warning as a sign to prepare for a fight; fighting wasn't something she liked to do, but she wasn't going to abandon her new friends. She began chanting quietly, shields forming around Decay and Kozri. ((Sorry, couldn't think of a better way to RP Power Word: Shield XD))

Faron and DemonKnightThing, CotD building

Faron nodded seriously, running along behind Saturo with Vallrok and the shorter of the two knights running beside him. He began to gather static electricity in his fur.

Saturo - CotD building

Saturo burst the door open, and calmly entered the warehouse. Muttering something about "stupid darkness", she waved her hands a bit, and a fel explosion lit up the room. What she saw amused her. Decay hanging upside down, next to a cultist, and the drake from earlier was there too. And some night elf. She smiled a devilish smile, and fel flames erupted over the doors, more-or-less sealing them in.

"This should be amusing... Faron, could you get the death knights in here? A real test for them..."

Decay - CotD building

Decay looked surprised as a gnome burst in trough a door, and got slightly blinded by the sudden light from what sounded like an explosion. She looked around for exits, but they all seemed sealed.
"Oh crap..."

Faron and DK, CotD building

Faron nodded, and Vallrok turned to the death knight that had come along. "Get the other one in here. You have a new test."
The knight nodded, moving swiftly through the flames - essentially unharmed by the fel magic - and grabbing the other knight by the arm to drag him towards the fight.

Faron himself grinned savagely at Kozri, Decay and the other elf, letting one or two tiny bolts of lightning flicker about his charged pelt.

He knew if he attacked the wolf, he'd be electrocuted. Still, he had little practice and that gnome would slaughter him in dragon form. It really didn't look good. "Azu, do NOT come back, understood? Stay far away. We'll be fine. Probably. Just...stay away, and stay safe." The reply came back instantly, "No! I'm coming, I won't leave you in trouble!"

As Kozri's message reached her, she hissed. Without further thought, she leaped off her nightsaber, shifting into her avian form. She circled once, screeching, before peeling back to the building.

Indigosa--Icecrown

Azu shifted into her bird form and Indi knew trouble was happening with Kozri. She sent Khaz careening after the druid, worried about Kozri and wanting to make sure Azu would stay safe. "Azu!" she shouted. "Let me go in first so you can sneak in from behind!" She hoped the druid would hear her and listen to reason. Indi was made to front enemy lines and take massive amounts of damage; she wanted to be the first in that building.

CotD Building/Icecrown

"Azu! That isn't staying away! Stay safe, we can handle ourselves!" He called out to the druid, the rune on his the bronze scale glowing. "No! I'm not going to let you get killed. Besides, I have a score to settle." Kozri sighed, this was going to end horribly.

Azunara had heard Indi vaguely, but she hissed, continuing to fly frantically, ignoring Kozri's warnings.

Indigosa--CotD Building/Icecrown

Indi cursed in a swath of languages, Azu wasn't slowing down and Khaz was flying as fast as he could. The gryphon might be undead, but Indi knew he had limits. She felt that the beast would give her more if she asked, but she couldn't possibly push him faster. She just hoped she'd be able to reach them soon enough to take control of the situation and keep the others safe.

Alarial--CotD Building

Alarial was a little bit nervous with the introduction of the gnome and electric wolf. She kept up her chanting and prayers to Elune, prepared to start healing as needed. She hoped her chanting would help to keep Decay and Kozri calm and keep their heads clear so that they might fight better.
