I GOT HIM!

after months of hunting , ten times finding the beauty of a feline collapsed in dead, after many times of heart pounding disappointment

flying out into the basin for another pass, ready for disappointment, I fly over my most memorable spot, just past the great hive of wasps by the river, I near the edge and suddenly I hear a wailing of drums go off, I glance down it's LOQUE my NPC scan found him, I look franticly expecting yet another body...but NO HE'S ALIVE! I land and start to tame but OH NO! my pet is still out!!! I quick as I can put him on passive and dismiss! start to retame my heart POUNDING faster then the drums that caused it, and finally after those eight agonizing seconds he's MINE.

all mine, so pretty he stands by my side waiting for some food and a name

oh dear... I don't have a CLUE what to name him

Lol, already asked you where you tamed him in the other thread, grats again! I was amazed yesterday to get him, since twice I've tagged "him" only to notice it's a pvp-enabled pet with an owner hiding behind me and then laughing and killing me. This time I stopped for a moment, hovered over him to make sure he was nobody's pet and then sprung to action! He's got a magnificent roar doesn't he?

Thrill of the hunt, basically. Hard to find, lots of competition, that sort of thing. And most people think they are pretty.

As for a name.. well I have Astreous, Seung, and Shola as my loques. Renamed my first Loque Shola, in omage for the place that kept me captive while waiting for King Krush to spawn and not get killed while I am trying to tame him, and in omage to the loque I released for him

Edit: As for the name, I called mine Yuki. It means Snow in Japanese.

I found Loque when a priest whispered me and asked if I wanted to come tame him (I was killing cobras and crocs for... some reason, can't remember). I IMMEDIATELY flew to where he was, saw Loque, nearly had a heart attack, tamed him, and gave the priest 200g in heartfelt thanks.

And he was the last Spirit Beast I needed to complete the set, and the one that had eluded me the longest. I was a VERY happy camper
