Rise of the Shadows!

[Senna-Umbreon]

Ghost let out a sigh, growling slightly as the Signal Beam hit her. She looked up at Solara, not making any effort to get back up.

Iron nuzzled his son, purring.

[Senna-Umbreon]

Rust squeaked, then tilted his head at his dad, "Where mommy?"

[Magnakilro]

Iron scratched, "I don't know son..."

[Senna-Umbreon]

Rust whimpered, then looked back in the direction he had come from, back where Julius had been the last he saw. He looked up at Iron and squeaked, "Meep!!"

[Azunara]

Solara snarled, slashing at the umbreon again. Coward didn't even stand. She didn't have mercy when she attacked Soundwave and herself. Why should she? She gave a furious hiss, tail lashing.

[Magnakilro]

Iron followed where Rust looked, finding Julius, nuzzling him.

[Lupis]

Buzzard was feeling a little better. He got to his feet, stumbling as he got used to his newly evolved body, and stretched his wings. They couldn't fully open without hitting the ceiling, though. Shaking his head to clear it, he looked expectantly towards the window.

Delrokx watched curiously, grinning. This was the proof she needed - so long as the Espeon didn't wimp out.

[Senna-Umbreon]

Ghost hissed, but stayed down. She honestly couldn't wait 'til this was over.. This hurt a lot more than she had expected. She had kind of been hoping for a.. Swifter death than this. But did it really matter? Either way she'd die. And that's what was supposed to happen, right? No one cared about her anymore. She didn't belong back with the Dawn. And she didn't belong with the Dusk either. So.. What reason was there to live? No one would even miss her...

But... Then again, who even cared if the other's hated her? If they didn't care if she died? She didn't need them, right? Maybe dying would be stupid...

So now her choices were either die now, knowing no one cared.. Or keep living, again knowing no one cared. What was better? Dying, or living an empty life? She honestly wasn't sure... Not one bit. But.. If she did live, she could see her family again.. Even though they didn't care about her.. She still loved them. So.. Living would probably be the best idea.

With a sigh, Ghost started struggling to get back up, hoping that she'd actually live now that she decided she wanted to.

[Azunara]

((*is scared for Sol.*))

Solara snarled as Ghost got up, and charged a Hyper Beam, focusing her hatred and want for revenge into it.

[Senna-Umbreon]

Ghost blinked, then started backing up at Solara charged the Hyper Beam. Ooohhhh crap.. Maybe she wouldn't get out of this alive after a-- ... Hey wait. .. DUH. She mentally facepawed, and faded out completely, hoping it would allow her to escape the raging Espeon.

[Azunara]

Solara snarled as the umbreon faded, tail lashing. That made life harder. She tested the winds, feeling it run through her fur. If she waited long enough, hopefully she could get a vague sense of where she was. She kept charging the hyper beam.

[Senna-Umbreon]

Ghost hesitated, knowing Solara would probably find some way to track her. Hmm.. There had to be a way to distract the Espeon long enough for her to escape... Aha!

She grinned, firing a Shadow Ball at a tree behind Solara, and then a spectral orb directly at her.

Ghost used Shadow Ball!
Ghost used Confuse Ray!

As soon as she fired off the Confuse Ray, she whirled around and raced away.

((*gets all excited over Synchronization-pauses, crashes and burns in disappointment.* D:))

Solara growled, whipping around to where the Shadow Ball and came from and fired off the Hyper Beam in that direction. The light orb danced erratically, and she shook her head, recoiling, trying to clear her head. She recovered quickly enough to hear Ghost running, and she flicked her ears, hissing. She tried desperately to get the grass to entangle the umbreon, but the sinking realization that the stupid Dawn was escaping hit her. Not this time.

She lashed her tail. Next time, there wouldn't be hesitation. Next time, she would make sure the umbreon was dead.

[Senna-Umbreon]

((Muwahahaha, clever Umbreon is clever! Gotta love outwitting your enemy! XD))

Ghost breathed a sigh of relief as her plan worked. Good.. If it hadn't.. Well, it wouldn't have ended well. Despite that, she didn't dare cease running.

[Azunara]

((I'mma going to blame game mechanics. *nods seriously.*))

Solara snarled. As much as she'd love too, she wasn't stupid. Chasing the umbreon would lead her into Dawn territory, and they would destroy her. Her recently purple fur was already starting to fade into a darker state as she slipped back into the Dusk state of mind.

[Moonlost]

"He seems ready to test himself out," Insins told Scarab. "It would seem he's in control of his mind for the moment, the decision is yours. Also, I have enough of the new virus to evolve another three specimins. I have a number of cultures synthesising more, but they won't be ready until tomorrow."

Gamin whined as he stood outside the Lab. Earlier, he had been eager to charge in there and see what was happening, then he heard Buzzard's roars of pain. They had stopped now, but he was left feeling uneasy. He decided to wait outside a little more, see what would happen next.

Seventeen found herself laying atop a child's bed, absentmindedly clawing at the matress. Had she come out on top of those two umbreons? Had she killed them? Considering the damage she had caused then, she thought so. But her memories of the fight were blurry and rage filled. She stared to paw at her empty eye socket. Sight was never her strongest sense, but she was pissed at loosing half of it none the less.
She sighed, she needed to prove to herself that she was still strong, that she could still kill.

Scarab looked at Buzzard, then back at Insins. "Hisss control has always been sstrong. I doubt he will attack. Let him out for now."

Delrokx nodded at Solara. "Pretty good. Looks like you don't run from fights with the Dawn. Well, then. Ready to meet Scarab? Things have changed. Treat this like the first time you've ever met the real Scarab."

[rubybeam]

Thunder couldn't help but peek into the window of the test area upon seeing the new buzzard her reaction was obvious "And what the hell are you..?"
