Essentially, me trying a few new tricks. Layers was a big, new one for me. It was neat to be able to color and not worry about killing my line art because I had to erase color. Also zoomed in realllly close on Azu to ensure there were minimal white spots. And I tried using a darker color for shading.
So yeah. Just me practicing a few new things.
...She's using Lifebloom, if it's hard to tell...

Is the cat supposed to have a mottled, airbrushed kind of appearance? If not, I'd suggest working with a solid brush first, then using an airbrush on top of the solid color to create shading or texture. Also, be careful to color inside the lines. Since you're getting a hang of how to use layers, this is what I do in Photoshop to ensure I color inside the lines.
1. Make sure the picture's got a transparent background
2. Create new layer and color it a glaringly different color than the subject
3. Make the new layer fit behind the main picture
4. Coloring flaws will pop out magically!
5. Choose to edit the original layer and carefully erase the excess color
6. Delete that single-color layer
7. Done to perfection!

Oh man, I remember discovering layers... getting used to juggling them was a little annoying, but once I got the hang of it it was MAGICAL. I'm sure you'll find them similarly useful!
Nice practice, keep it up! We expect to see more in the future!

The best thing to do, depending on the program you're using, is to draw with 300-350 dpi. Web images (screenshots, avatars, etc.) are set at 72 dpi. The main difference? More color per pixels and the images with 300dpi will have better detail and be larger, so you don't have to constantly zoom in so much.
Also, draw big, and then downsize when done. My canvas is usually 1000x1000 minimum with whatever I'm drawing. It also helps with detail and minimizing eye discomfort.
Finally, my best advice is to block in Azu with a solid dark color as the under coat (always start with a big brush) and then make a new layer and add highlight and shadow coloring on top for things like the main, some fur detail, etc. Otherwise, it looks good!
Not trying to get critical at all, but I was once at that just learning stage and hope I can help. Don't take any criticism personally
