PetEmote Addon - A fond farewell

So four of the five new pet families will be live tomorrow! Keep notepad open to jot down ideas so we can get beetles, dogs, foxes, and monkeys caught up with the others as quickly as possible.

I think some of the wolf emotes should be moved to dog. A lot of them seem more dog-like than wolf like.

Like, I feel a wolf isnt gonna wanna play fetch.

Yeah, Kalli and I were talking about this a while back. A lot of the current wolf emotes are going to be dog emotes, and the wolves will be getting a bit more feral.

Oops, sorry about that Taluwen. Should be pet's name your using. Also, things may be wonky if you repeat pet names on toons. Every pet under that name (ie Barnaby) will share the custom emotes.

I try to keep name different. :3

Should it be the actual pet name or the mob/pet name?

As mentioned before, you can use your pet's name instead of the pet family as the name of an emote configuration. I'm not sure what "mob/pet name" means, but what works is only the name that floats on screen over your pet.

For Hunters this is the name you gave your pet, for Warlocks it's the one name each of your different demons has gotten when first summoning it (which will never change as long as Blizzards doesn't do strange things), for Death Knights it is a new name each time you re-summon the ghoul after he died and for Mages it is always the same as the pet family: "Water Elemental".

I'm wondering a bit, because this feature is contained since there are random emotes.

However, like all pet emotes, this does not work for non-combat companions.

Now that I have my Undead hunter, I've noticed many of the Spider emotes use the prefix 'its' instead of 'he' or 'she'. Just thought I'd point it out for the future perhaps. ^^

if it's a spider from hillsbrad it's probably a she considering how many bears now have eggs coming out of their backs.

Yes, Veph. I know. I will fix this, I promise. Spider's spiders will have "he" and "she" soon.

Teigan's emotes from Nov. 13th are also included.

I love this addon with a passion! My only regret, having not gotten it a long time ago! "Drachenstein rests one head on each of his mistress's shoulders and growls affectionately"...I melt everytime he does this! <3
