How does that work? Is having someone puncture your throat and steal vital bodily fluids considered attractive amongst females? Not to be sexist, mere curiosity.

First off, Blood Elves don't have to consume magic in-game. I wish that they would have had this qwerk in-game. And same with the Orcs actually suffering Blood Rage, ie loosing control in battle.

Now they did get the Human issues in-game, prejudice against all that is different and many not willing to learn otherwise, aka King Varien Wrynn. hehehe. Of course Night Elves are about the same, not all but many (lore wise).

My main is a bit different, he is a Half Elf. Night Elf/Human hybrid.

Hope you all don't think I was trying to steel the thread.

AAAAHHHHGGGGG....

Hate Twilight and never saw it.

Ex World of Darkness player here. Gangrel Rule. And my Gangrel was a member if a Werewolf pack too, LOL.

Keep in mind that all romance is about fantasy, not reality.

The actual vampire pron is a lot more interesting. ;)

And who says there's anything wrong with necrophilia?

Twilight or no Twilight, blood elves are and always have been considered quite vampiric indeed; take this memorable quote from Taela Everstride in Terrokar:

"No, don't feel bad. I get that a lot. <Taela looks both amused and annoyed.> I'm a HIGH elf, not a blood elf. Don't worry, I'm not going to suck all of the magic out of you."

Then there is the matter of how they all live in constant dread of being reduced to mindless mana-sucking fiends should they use too much power or give in to their constant thirst, which is based directly on the parallel between vampires-as-thinking-beings vs vampires-as-blood-crazed-berserkers...

Well, I don't think real romance is. It might be though.

Not sure what to say to that, so I'll agree with you on principal.

Well, it's generally considered taboo and (I think) rape since they can't say no.

But, this is mere speculation of course. The important part is the destruction of Twilight. Deathwing must have put Meyer up to this!

I apologize - I meant romance fiction, not romance in the general sense.

And thanks for the link, Adam! ;)

I'd love that too. Then I could slaughter both sides ALL DAY ALL YEAR ALWAYS.

Incorrect. Very unfair portrayal of Varian. Pretty ironic statement actually.

Anyway, BOT, I always viewed Death Knights as being the Vampires of WoW. That way, I can have my Worgen Rogue beat the crap out of a DK and bring balance back to the world. (Werewolves > Vampires :headbang: )
