Is Gezzarek tameable in 4.03a?

Gezz is immune to traps, but you honestly don't need one. The tame time alone is quick enough to grab her with no trouble.

Don't haste potions cut tame time too? My plan was chug a haste potion, tame with my back to a tree and have a stam buff on me.

I really like the Blue one too, but my goal for Tapeworm (Horde Hunter) is unique skin. Meaning one beast = usually named = one skin.

I am trying to spread the love by hitting as many families as I can, but there are certain families that will get left out. Like... I have to get every single Spirit Beast, but the fox, raptor, and bear families might get left behind on Tapeworm.

When we had 5 stable slots and heard we were getting 20 more it seemed like a lot... but having 19 (or more) pets now it doesn't seem like it is that much room. Considering how long it took to get Blizzard to update the size... it might be some time before we have another increase... IF we have another. Even if they gave us 100 slots we would all complain at some point that we need more.

Regarding taming... I was able to solo tame her in beta and she did knock me back once, but didn't have enough time to do it again before she was mine.

Yes haste pots cut down the tame time, but when patch 4.0.1 (or 4.0.0) came out, they reduced the cast time on Tame from 20ish seconds to 10, so a haste pot isn't needed since she does her knockback every 10-15 seconds. I did it on my copied 80 hunter on beta a few months ago after I had farmed the scrolls and had no problems taming. Just find a pile of skulls that has a hill or tree/hut close enough to it so you can kite her over and have it against your back, wait for her to do the knockback then start taming.

I can't wait until the servers come up. This is what I'm most excited for. Besides Loque'nahak, when I was a baby hunter, she was the pet I wanted the very most, and it killed me that I started playing too late to have her. The white and teal ones just weren't the same. Come to me, Gezzarak!

I named him Douchebag. Forgive me Douchebag! I secretly loved you and your shivering scales! T^T I may tame you again, but I will not rename you Douchebag, I shall grab a red and green skin and name you Jolly!

There there, I'm sure he always knew! My Jerkface was named such because when I tamed him, he actually warped out of my frost trap twice mid-tame! I was so frustrated with him I gave him that name, figuring once I calmed down I'd get him a better one... but it was just always so fitting.

And now he's going to be getting the skin that has eluded me for so long... which is a pretty jerk thing to do anyway, so his name remains fitting! I can't wait.

I'm actually torn on whether or not I was Gezzy on my main. I may get a phase hunter instead. I AM getting a phase hunter for my belf, until I can tame a Daggertail lizard that I shall name Daiquiri (cause he'll be strawberry colored ).

I've one character who can summon Gezz, but is not a hunter... So would it be possible for me to summon her on that toon, log off, and tame her on my hunter? Or does the summoning "tag" the beast?

I'm not sure, but you could always hand the scrolls off to a trusted compadre who can do the summon for you.
