temple of ahn'qiraj bosses/pets

so now that the patch happend i tamed all my pets besides the rare spawns and raids. and i want straight to raids and well is there any guide for me to get through temple of ahn'qiraj? so i can tame princess huhuran and princess yauj. cause the first boss i got to well.. i kept getting conrtolled and soon enough i killed my pet... so im guessing either i have to get a couple friends or is there a way to solo this?

You're not gonna really be able to solo the boss, as not only does he MC- he spawns 2 copies that if their aggro target is NOT within melee range of them, they have QQ fits and well everyone suffers.

I tried on my pally and well.. it hurt.

It hurt Bad. It hurt worse than a Orc Sea Pup's digestive problems.

I soloed the first boss. It's rather easy. There's currently a glitch with the Jormungar worms. Once they start to take damage they'll instantly heal themselves to full. I set him on the Prophet (first boss) and simply feigned death. I had to jump up and re-feign a few times, but otherwise I simply watched my worm kill the boss. Your pet can't get the mind control, and as long as you're feigned, you can't either. Took about twenty minutes, but the boss was dead and my worm was still at 2/3 life when the 20 minute fight was over. Was great. I now have Kri and Huhuran as a result

Thanks to the handy tip about the Jormungar worm glitch, Boris and I happily soloed Skeram down tonight in preperation for tomorrow's journey to the brain bug bosses for my taming of Lord Kri and the orange beetle. It took me three tries and trash respawns to get him down and I totally forgot to take a pic. XD

For whatever reason, as the jormungars get really low on health, they just sort of magically regain it all through one massive heal.

It's alot of pets, and randomly (sometimes it doesn't work). It's a bug on the coding that restores pets to full health after unmounting. It's basically a bug on a counter-bug.

It still works. And it can allow you to do some pretty outlandish things, such as soloing bosses with over a million health. Provided your pet isn't hit for more than it's life in one hit, it'll eat the damage and given enough time, you'll always come out on top.

I had a few times where, even feigned, I ended up getting mind controlled here. I'm not completely sure why, but I think it was a matter of 'boss too close to me'. Or somehow being just a tiiiiiiny bit on the aggro table even without. Either way, that's what's keeping me from pulling this off: getting MCed. The 'health glitch' is working.

That's weird. The health glitch isn't working at all for me. Again, does it matter which jormungar, or what level, or...? I have Rattlebore.

Yeah. I was just coming in to edit my post to say that I spoke too soon; now my pet doesn't seem to be able to 'catch the glitch' again after the last time. So either I spoke too soon, or it's somehow been 'fixed' on my pet somewhere in the mess.

The trick is to only fire off an initial shot on Skeram. Like, I put my pet on "move to" and set him on the top of the stair case on aggressive, then I sent him into battle and fired off a serpent sting, I then high-tailed it out of range. I kept myself near the staircase and just popped Kill Command on cooldown and focus fire when it procced and used BW on cooldown. Then we he does "summon images" I immediately feigned death and let the pet do the work of killing the images. It's important to remain feigned--I messed up my first two tries by popping out of feign to KC and FF and got raped by the magic ability he spits at you. He'll do the ability while you're feigned, but much less often than if you're not. It's also important to keep aspect of the wild up to mitigate the damage. The main key to downing him though is to stay out of range. I got it on my third try and the adds did a soft reset in the room.

Of course, if they fixed the health glitch idk how it would be soloed without you having to run in and mend pet. >_>

I finally did this with a Spirit Beast. I'm not sure if the glitch was still there as strongly, but between the occasional Spirit Heals and Bloodlust procs, he was able to down the boss. Now I just need to find where Huhu is hiding.

Is there any non glitch way past the boss tho? I mean what class can really solo it; and are they soloable? I'm almost ready to pay whatever can solo the damned thing 100g :/

Huhuran is hiding a little deeper in.

Gotta get past Battleguard Sartura (Bring in the tank pet, it's all physical dmg) Feign Death will help alot, as the boss + 3 adds like to drop aggro and charge at someone else, OFTEN.

Then there is Fankriss the Unyielding. The "Spawn of Fankriss" adds that spawn during the fight you gotta nuke fast, as they enrage (when they enrage, they can hit a level 80 tank in Plate for 3-4k damage, personal experience on my Paladin). He will also randomly teleport you, or your pet (maybe, untested myself) to one of 3 spots in the room, and stun you in a web. Can't move, or anything til it wears off. Master's Call will be nice here if your pet isn't the one in it.

THEN you can get to Princess Huhuran. This is of course, barring all trash as well.
