Biggest Pet Ever!

So, I've spent years reading these discussions and using this site and never really had much to add that hasn't been said. Tonight though after my failure to tame the Princess Huhuran in AQ40, (She stomped my lvl.72 self into the ground with 1.2secs left to tame) I decided to tame a Beetle, when we got to the Twins fight something magical happened. Yes, that's a Mechanohog under my pet. It had its DMG increased by 1600% for 5 mins and it's size blown WAY up by the Twins.

From right before, tamed it on a whim since I had the slot open.

Obvious their little effect works on pets too.

another way to get your pet huge is in magisters terrace on the second boss, just slowly dps the boss and have pet go for the sparks every time, make sure you keep mend pet on it or other ways ot keep it healed

You may have the biggest but i had the smallest pet ever but sadly i dont know how to post images.
But i can still explain how to get it.
During the quest Waptor Twapping i found out if you finish tame just as raptor gets hit by shrink you get a hatchling sized pet.
But even more sad is it doesn't stay small you have the small pet for just a min or 2.

would this be worth investigating? like taming it on the exact second it goes away?

Does he stay that big, or does he shrink down again after the Twins Fight? I can't help but picture the reaction your beetle would get in Org!

The buff that it recieved only had a four minute duration. Looked it up on wowwikki:

Mutate Bugs — grow to 400% size, gain 300% health, melee for 1800% damage

I totally wanted to take this thing into a random battleground and just run riot with him. Buff expired before I could get into one
