Well, so far - from a last "catches" - Oil-Stained Wolf "Nött". Absolutely fantastic pet.
His deep black, "non-reflection" skin is so unique :O) He is staying with me all the time.
And my Hróövitnir, long-time-raid-friend, now in a stable all the time.

And for sure Diseased Hawk "Hábrök".
Never been into bird/chimaera, but this model rocks.
Best bird I've ever seen :O) And he CAN FLY!!
But once again - WILL NEED YOUR HELP WITH CUNNING PET BUILD PLZ!!! There is almost nothing on web 'bout cunning pets or broken links

First dog on server. And just love dogs. For me he is like a fox for other ppl - nice companion.

I don't like new crocks. I mean old models r much better and cool.

I really don't like foxes. They're just... Not hunter pet material to me. A vanity pet? Yes. Combat pet? Heck no.

Same here. Almost :O)) I'm still looking on AQ guy and on this "open-minded" one. And you know what? I'm about to keep brain guy :O)

The rest of birds, EPL, Kara or whatever dogs, core hounds etc etc... None.
To be honest with you for me The Beast "Báléygr" is much better looking than Chrom.

Have no idea why, they r super cool models and I LOVE them.
But can't keep them. Was trying 6 times to get wolf-back-then from North. Love it but just can't.

I really don't like foxes. They're just... Not hunter pet material to me. A vanity pet? Yes. Combat pet? Heck no. Very impractical and, considering there's still basilisks and hydras and all sorts of fierce animals we could use, it bothers me that foxes of all things got the green light when they weren't even in game beforehand!

This was EXACTLY what I thought about foxes. Then I got bored and had an open stable slot and decided to tame one on my current main (female NE). Having a fox by my side felt surprisingly like my first-tamed wolves! I HAD to go get one on my baby Tauren ...

AS for pets that underwhelemed me and took me by surprise I got to say my slithib ant covered both of those. I went and grabbed the scorp to convert, because I didn't care for the brain bugs and I hate how the tanks jump back and forth and have had one get stuck on me a couple times before I abandoned it. I thought how cool and it is the ant model as well this will rock.

When I got him on patch day I was like cool, but I then put him in the stable and really had no desire to play with her. I even had come up with a cool name, Yuraliria. So, I had em out today to show someone and ended up with her as I was out fishing working on Limnologist and Oceanographer and petemote started going off. First off after a few I decided that Yura was female not male. Then as more emotes went off some of them I knew weren't right for her personality. Next thing I know, I'm smiling at how hyper she is and excited to check everything out. The way her idle motion has her turning right and left really looks like an excited kid trying to see everything. hehe

That's not 'bout dogs/'ex wolves models.
They r great. I love norse/runes theme, they MUST fit perfectly in my stable - but they r not.
Its like "they r TOO GOOD to be a pet" or dunno.
Like design, like models - none in stable.
As much as I like Diseased Hawk - same I can't stay with Runed Demon Dogs.
Have no idea why. Kind of psycho? :O)))

Or like me... i would haoppilly PAY someone to farm Krush for me.. 7 months now.. im done.. but i still keep a slot open for him, but i would so much love if we could trade pets... maybe someone out there has a Krush they dont like

I highly recommend if you can camping out at one of the spawn points. You might get lucky. That's what happened with me and Skoll. Sorta anti-climatic after all I went through to get Loque'nahak back when Wrath first came out.

I LOVE chromie color sounds not most practical pet but def come with me and loqu for dailies
The Fox i like the cute yippy bark noises and Im suprised i do. i also didnt see it as a "hunter pet"
I tried monkeys cute but i donno i like the fox more like fox is having fun teasing and nipping the baddies

I keep taming carrion birds, and releasing them. I love the white condor model, but can't find one on the list that flies. Just got the white parrot from Deadmines, and may like the fly ability enough to keep him. And he is an excuse to wear my pirate outfit in Org :}

Those pets who will never leave my stable: 1. Amok, my ghost saber 2. Chakra, Loqu with a new name 3. ghost hydra, Menageatrois (yes, yes, I know could not help myself)

And the surprises for me? Underwhelmed by the foxes, mastiffs, and seagull. And I really thought I would love them.

Pets that surprised me by how much I love them? Gondria. Just got her on a whim, and um, fell in love. And my little white ghosty demon dog from Kara. Boo is so understated, and I love the running animation on the model.

On the fence: my white parrot, my monkey. No real connection yet.

I guess it is obvious that I prefer white/black/gray pets and love the ghost effect on anything. I tamed the spirit looking two headed vulture, but eh, not sure he is a keeper.

I love hearing the pet stories here so much! Keep writing all.

On a side note, it's quite funny how so many people write Bangladesh instead of Bangalash. We see the B at the start, the N in the middle and the H at the end and immediately fill out Bangladesh.

I've been feeling the same way. I think I'm finally sitting down and making myself release that oil-stained wolf. It was an awesome challenge to get it, but... well frankly, I don't like the sabrewargs, and the fact he's oily doesn't make him any more enjoyable. I wouldn't even take him out to show him off. And Timber wins for 'which wolf to keep' by a landslide.

Need to do the same with my yellow worm (sorry, Lovely Rare, but I've bonded nicely with my Jormungar), Olm (I know you're extinct, but Dai is too lovable) and one of my two silithids (which is still a decision I can't make).

The same main reason I tamed my parrots... now if I can just decide whether to have the red och dark red model The red are more of a typical pirate-parrot for me IRL, but ingame the dark red one are the typical pirate parrot (since it comes with the hat)

I really thought that I would love the blue runed dog, as I always wanted it over the red since I thought the blue "frost" made it look wierd, but I just couldn't click with him. Ended up taming and keeping the red anyways (same with the blue normal dog, the runed red one just looked so much better)
And while I thought that I would like the new Shango skin, it was totally different. The new riding model (no, I have never had one before like Rak och pridewatcher) was to me so good-looking, that when I compared with the normal model, it was like "look at shango-dismiss-look at tiger-abandoned". That was a very fast decision since I just can't like the normal tiger model as much anymore. Poor Snow Leopard first-tame, I guess she won't see anything but the stables for some time now

Pretty same story for the new Jormungar skins, I thought my wormie would get replaced, but I just couldn't let the brown skin go, I had bonded too much with him to change him I think

I was also quite surprised by the white chimaera. Not really because of the model, since I knew I liked it from having one before, but when I tested him and saw the spell effects... they look really badass!

My green outlands raptor was quite the same. I didn't think he would make such an impression on me, but DAMN raptors are cute when they run beside you, or when they jump-attack That made him earn a place on my "never to replace" list

The black devilsaur was one that I thought I'd like really much, but although he is cute, he did not make it to the above mentioned list...

And although I had not been able to tame the right colour, beetles just wasn't for me. They are pretty nice and all, but I don't like their idle.. thingy..

I was actually surprised by the Ant silithid. At first he was an attraction tame, something that would be kinda cool. Now I've grown attached. Even if they made all silithid ants tamable, got rid of the talent glitch and all that I'd still keep him because he fits my interests as a pet so well. Plus, we just plowed AQ 20 last night to tame his siblings. I shortly found out they lost their boss tags though, so they are no longer with me because there are more interesting skins.

There were alot of underwhelming pets. I think I systematically tamed almost every new pet after the patch and didn't connect with a single one, except gezz (but she's a retame).

I was surprised to find myself wanting one of those brain bugs, the one with red on it. So before the shattering I left my hunter in Un'goro. I tamed him,but he was broken so I was really dissapointed with that. I didn't want the broken one with the brain hanging out,but I'm not really good enough to get into AQ by myself so I thought what the heck until this one is fixed I'll try it to see how it moves... Now I like it! Its disgusting,but it glows and other people seem to get a kick out of it.

I've also found that I LOVE the monkey pets, I was expecting it,but the noises they make get me laughing every time. They sound like baby Bruce Lee's.

The most dissapointing petskin was the "Blue Runed MageDog". They look amazing here on petopia.

But once tamed, they are quite small, unimpressive looking, with a truly horribad/cutesy animation they do far too often, and just didn't look good to me at all. Very dissapointed.

Same goes for almost every Worm Model in game. Loved the Vanilla-worms when I killed them, hated them tamed. Was really excited when I say the Jorm. wormskins, then hated those once tamed too. Just tamed the white Jorm. last night, got rid of the black one, and the white may be a decent enough keeper.

There are few "suprise, looks great" Pets cause I don't tame much that doesn;t look great here at petopia, but both Skoll and Gondria look amazing as expected, some of the best looking pets around IMO.

hmmm well i was planning on getting a fox but everyone was drooling over them so i whent to tame a black one. just cant connect with him. although it is kind of funny to have him "play" then send him after somthing, he will probably be set fee to make room for some kind of pvp pet. Also i was so excited about the runed demon hounds but they are sssooooo small! I was considering making him one of my main pets but the pretty green runes on him just look like radioactive green blotches after he shrank. The size problem with the kara hounds was disapointing too but seeing how my best friend cleared the place out just for me i have grown a bit more attached to my green ghost (Phantom) and my white ghost (haunt) Was also planning on a sunburst adder but when i found one i decided my white one from shadowmoon was better. x) im not as attatch to my silithid ant as i thought i would be but that guy is still a keeper.


as for pets that took me by suprise, i love my brain bug even move then i thought i would. Im not big on the birds in wow but man i fell in love with my seagull. also not big on wolves but the lone hunter suprised me. shame he dosnt keep the sword stuck in his face though- would have been awsome.
as for Chromaggus... ahhh, well i dont have him just yet but i love dragons so he will stay with me forever. the adventure i have had with my friends during my taming attempts are more then enough to make me want to keep him around anyway =)
